Pawsnickety Pets — Local services in Norfolk

I’ve been meaning to write this review for some time. This is the perfect little local pet shop, the staff is so knowledgeable and helpful. I was an unprepared pet mom but coming here they set me up with a nice little adoption kit and even talked me through common pittie issues. I love bringing my guy in store as well to pick out way too many treats and get pets. They’ve also done pics with Santa in the past with is adorable and a great little Christmas card. The point system is also fantastic and you earn freebies after you hit a certain amount for specific items. One thing I do with they had more toys/items for big dogs. I find I still have to go to other big box stores for toys or little outfits and my dog loves an outfit. If you’re looking for a great place to shop for your pet, that cares about your pet...

I made a trip from Va Beach to this store and I can honestly say-it was worth the trip!! The staff couldn’t be more helpful!! I even witnessed- (both people working)-them getting down onto the floor to help a furr customer get fitted for a harness!! It was wonderful to see such attention to detail and an honest desire to have “happy customers”! As I was checking out, I asked about a particular product line and the owner was quick to respond that she would look into it! Where else can you go where you will see an unwavering desire to be the BEST at customer service?? It was SO refreshing!!

They have a great selection of food, treats, collars, clothing, and even some cute house decor!!

Absolutely adorable shop with the friendliest (and super knowledgeable!!) owner on hand to answer questions and offer suggestions. I enjoyed hearing about the limited ingredient treats/foods, since I have to keep my pup’s sensitive tummy in mind. The pup in question felt right at home - she sniffed every single item in the store at least twice, and tried (unsuccessfully) to sample some of the merchandise 😅 before laying down for a belly rub.
