McDonald's — Restaurant in Normal

It took several months and I don’t know if the reviews make a difference but this location has really improved service so I changed my review.

Several times I have tried to give this location a chance but every time I go they Don’t get my order correct. I order on the app and the boxes say what I ordered is in the box but when I open it they are always wrong. So don’t pay extra to add on because they obviously don’t read at this location.

Everyone that I see walking out seems to have a look on their face like their best friend just died. No energy or smiles. Maybe it’s just this generation but it’s really sad to see such a miserable attitude from the workers.

Seems also if you are ordering through the app now you wait much longer than the regular drive through. Usually the food is cold now by the time it gets to my vehicle. Today I waited 24 minutes before I decided to go inside to see what was going on and they were just bringing it out from behind the counter.

Fries were cold and order was wrong again. Not going back to this location.

With so many choices of places to eat and the price point I will start going to a regular restaurant and get take out… better food...

Bad experience. Simple order and couldn't get it right. Ordered the two cheeseburger value meal. Ordered no mustard on sandwiches and they put it on them. The fries were barely even warm. Ordered for drink coke No ice. Sat at window for at least 5min waiting on drink. Then they only filled glass 1/2 full. Gave it back and asked them to fill it up. Then sat there at window waiting another 5 min. Only dor them to ask me to pull forward and they would bring my drink out to me. During this time the MANAGER came up to the glass dispenser machine at window and flipped the bird at the machine. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!!! I pulled forward and waited for drink dor another 10 minutes a d finally had to get out of my car and go inside and get the drink. Oh and during this time you could see through the window the employees standing around talking. I WILL NOT BE GOING BACK TO THIS...

I give this McDonald's five (5) stars which normally I don't do for fast-food joints because really never have found one deserving. However, I have special need children that have very picky eating habits (from meatless hamburgers with only extra ketchup, others with/without/add this, and the burger that has everything but each item has to be wrapped separate so foods aren't touching and mixing, and our fries must be made without salt but with salt packets. Yes and when I come to the drive thru and start my order, immediately I can tell if it's someone that already knows it's me and the family. Anyways, for the most part I have encountered smiling faces and the willingness to make sure my order is correct and service times are met. Like any place there are a few employees that always go above and beyond to make your visit...
