Not great. Had a medium boot daddy and the top was frozen custard and it was a good start, although not much flavor, and then very quickly it got to all the chocolate and crunch stuff and it was just way too sweet with not much distinct flavor or texture. Or frozen custard. Just tasted like thick sugar syrup with random crunches. Pretty thick, heavy, syrupy, and gross. I kept scooping hoping I’d find more frozen custard to balance out the flavor and texture but nope. Just a pit of gross goop.
I regret eating this. 1,000 calories down in a matter of 10 minutes. I wish I had gone to Braums for a Butterfinger mix where it’s a good mix of ice cream and sweet candy and crunch. Even having a candy sundae there, it’s just different because all the flavors compliment each other and have a distinct flavor. Andy’s Frozen Custard was just a straight up overly rich sugar flavor.
Not to say this isn’t a great option for other people, but this is my review so I have to put my honest...

My wife and I were out and about and stumbled into the now open Norman location, so we diverted from our original, ice-cream treat destination to give Andy's a go..
We were delighted with the outcome.. We split a medium Schooner Crunch and were abundantly pleased..
The blend had a great flavor, yet wasn't too rich or too sweet, which we found to be wonderfully appealing.. This won't be our only visit to this Andy's location.. There's plenty of other menu items for us to sample..
I personally like the layout.. Ordering under a protected patio at a window brought with it a whole bunch of memories from my youth of roadside diners and ice-cream shops from long ago..
Anywho, we 10 out of 10 recommend Andy's based on this first...
Read moreMy family and I stood in line ordered like normal. Waited and waited and the girl who took our order gave us 2 of our 3 milkshakes and then said our card had not processed the payment after she gave us the milkshakes. She also gave 2 other people after us their milkshakes and said nothing. My wife's milkshake was given to the customer behind us as he happened to order the same one after we had ordered. Then they gave us an organfe freeze that was like drinking warm soda mixed with ice cream. I also ordered a large and they gave us a medium. It wasn't super busy so I don't really understand this kind of service and I don't think the experience was worth 20 bucks for 30 milkshakes. I'll just go to Braums for that. Now I've heard a lot about Andy's and after this experience I don't know that I will go back or recommend...
