The cashier at the Robinson store was very rude because I didn't know to type my phone number in before she started scanning. She sighed several times and had a condescending tone in her voice and was shaking her head and just treated me poorly. Not friendly at all; no greeting, no smile, nothing nice. At all of the other homelands that I have been to, the phone number is typed in at the end. Also, I was still placing items on the conveyor belt when she started scanning my items. She told me I was to still type it in before she started scanning which means I have to type my number in while the customer in front of me is still putting his card in his wallet cause god forbid we wait 2.1 seconds between customers. I don't feel comfortable crowding the customer in front of me as I don't like people hovering over me when trying to pay and put in my pin number myself. In her defense, I am technologically challenged and no app works like it's supposed to but just a little patience would have been greatly appreciated. Read moreThis location has sooo many opportunities to be a real profitable store.tThe neighborhood can support because it’s a high income area. However, this location will most likely fail. There is no way this location can even pay the light bill and payroll. Homeland pricing structure is too steep. Additionally the Deli and produce and meat market is only marginal on a good day. This store has a handful of quality employees,, surrounded by under paid, under trained goomers. Observed a young employee sitting on a register belt. Wearing old baggy jeans with three holes in the legs each hole maybe 7 inches in diameter. And hadn’t been in a washing machine ever.. a baggy shirt three sizes to big. Ohh and probably 30 empty shopping carts in the parking lot. What an embarrassment,,, Tried the pharmacy at this location twice. Heads down while I’m standing there. They never look up. And I’m the only customer. Lastly wages are only the minimum. In today’s world, o me has to pay to play. This means $15 per hour, dress codes, proper training and expectation management....
