Target — Local services in Norman

Worst customer service EVER! needed something price matched, which I've never had issues before, yet they wouldn't this time around. The manager on duty, bill, wouldn't allow a price match. When asked, isn't it store policy to price match? He said yes. But when asked why aren't you then, he said because he doesn't want to. That if he price matched everything he'd be put of business. Not only that, he threatened to call the cops solely because he didn't want to price match. He even threatened us in front of our son! None of us was yelling or making a scene. Being rowdy, causing a disturbance, nothing. It was all simply because he said he didn't feel like selling it to us for the online price. Called corporate as well, they said they should be price matching. But in the end corporate doesn't care either. When asked if someone would call us back, they said probably not. That they just take notes and that's it. So it's very sad that this huge business doesn't care about its customers, who they hire or even to up hold their policies. Never again will I be going to this or any Target. One family loss doesn't matter to...

I have turned into a target lover. There was a storm a few weeks/months ago (what is time??) that knocked out power for a lot of Norman, including Walmart which was my go-to store, so I ended up going to target that day. It was the best shopping experience I had in a loooong time. The vast majority of customers wear their masks (with the exception of a few looney toons), the workers are always friendly and very helpful when I was struggling with the app for the first time at self checkout, the prices are usually only a couple cents more expensive than Walmart with the exception of a couple things I buy regularly (I've actually even found some things cheaper at target!), and the target circle offers are fantastic. I am still trying to get used to the layout, but it's just because I never used to come here to shop so I don't know where things are! I even discovered a tea brand by accident here (Harney and Sons) which I have absolutely fallen in love with. It is the best tea I've ever had. Could I say that Target changed my life for the better? Oh...

Staff here are always kind and helpful, and friends who are former employees have told me good things about their time working at this Target location specifically. I’ve made it a point to do my shopping here because of their positive input about their time working here and how it stacks up against the other grocery/retail stores they’ve worked at. Additionally, Norman team member Lizzie really knocked it out of the park when I had to call guest services during one of the busiest times of the day— stuff happens for everybody every now and again, but I never have problems at this store, so I was genuinely surprised to have to call and sort a situation out. Lizzie helped me get my issue sorted out quickly and effectively, and was kind and attentive during our interaction as well as communicative about the action steps she took to reach resolution so that I could follow along and be on the same page by the end of our interaction.
