Denny's — Restaurant in Norman

My husband and I took our daughter to Denny's for breakfast and it was the crappiest experience we have ever had anywhere. We didn't even get seated before we were asked what we wanted to drinkour waitress came over every 30 seconds as we were still looking at our menu asking if we're ready to order I had to tell her we're still looking at our menus that means we're not ready to order so she doesn't come back for 30 minutes then after we order we asked for some extra napkins for our daughter who is 18 months old and our waitress says "I usually bring those when I bring the food" we needed them when we asked..... Then my coffee was empty, she filled my cup with cold coffee, my husband ordered a extra side of bacon when he got his extra side of bacon there was three pieces instead of four as the menu states theres supposed to be four, our waitress argues with my husband and says actually there's only supposed to be two so my husband asks for a menu to double-check and our waitress sends over a gentleman who says to be the manager, who continues to argue with my husband as the reading me menu that says an extra side of bacon is 4 pieces. To add to it I ordered to buttermilk biscuits and gravy, and it came with sausage gravy as I didn't know I don't like sausage so I asked for the white country gravy.. my waitress brought me more biscuits with some kind of chicken gravy on them and told me that's the new kind of gravy they got that day...... If Shanice is not there working the Denny's in Norman is a joke we ended up getting up and leaving without eating any of our food I tried to eat my mozzarella stick sandwich thing but it was cold and the cheese sticks were hard!!!! I feel like the waitress we had needs fired she does not know how to be a waitress or she needs...

The service was very slow didn’t get refills or checked on at all really other than when food was brought we even had to track down to go boxes our selves and set there waiting on check check was never brought so I went to the cashier desk and waited finally she came out and checked me out she apologized for the slow service and stated they never have enough people I simply said oh I’m sorry you should tell them it affects your tips not to be able to service each table properly due to lack of staff she didn’t say anything but I could tell she didn’t like my comment I continued to pay and leave she followed me out the restaurant to yell something about me not leaving a tip I couldn’t here her so I walked back in to see what she said of course she was now going to avoid me so another waitress (apparently the manager) walks up and ask me what I wanted and before I could even get three words out she said I needed to respect there time well at this point there was a lady next to me who I did not know took it upon herself to stick up for me and tell her that a tip is gratuity or a cost added to voluntary show appreciation for good service not an expectation so I felt like my point was made so I left as I’m leaving a cop pulls me over and said they called and said I was being belligerent do not go to this location if...

Pretty much Irregular at the Denny's in Norman since your hands open okay. If you're right it seems like the service is starting to go downhill. Arrived here this morning we're sitting at the bar asked if I wanted to talk I said yes with cream. She brought it to me and left before I could you hurt my older. 10 minutes past six other people working seated. Several minutes later terrible had already received their food. After several minutes past I finally stop one of the waitresses you asked if I was not good enough to do served. He's already sat 6 people since I've got here two of them already eating. She took my order three eggs over easy sausage white toast pancakes butter on the side. My order came back create your EZ's hash browns and bacon. I got up and walked out I will not be back. Arrived at Cracker Barrel just down the street at 10 o clock at my table Channel 5 my brake rotors my 10:30 a.m. so what's up with your people. I will no longer be driving 18 miles out of my way to go to Norman and if I do it'll be at the Cracker Barrel not at Denny's.
