On June 14th the Manager that was on shift at 6:00 PM should deserve not even just a promotion but also absolute recognition for the commitment, dedication, and passion he holds. I was a DoorDash driver who arrived to the store and despite it taking a few extra minutes, I would expect nothing less from a restaurant that genuinely produces quality over quantity. I was greeted by this manager who was bringing himself down to the level of his staff as he was cleaning a table rather than acting stoic or simply standing around. Beyond just looking into the kitchen for when my order was ready he made sure any bagged meal that was finished was brought to me immediately performing multiple trips back and forth in the process. However after receiving what was thought to be all the bags containing the food, one was forgotten. While most places would force this issue to fall on the driver, he literally got into his vehicle and drove this singular box of forgotten food to the house arriving at the same time I had. This man has passion, honor, and the best level of guaranteeing someone receives what they paid for out of any place I have been whether it is in OKC, New York City, Florida, Texas, California, Colorado, Tennessee, and Alabama. I never got the chance to catch his name however I believe this makes it all the better as when I said I would write a review he never told me his name as he never did what he did today out of looking for recognition or an award, he did this because he is simply a good man doing the right thing any chance he can, even when no...
Read moreI was looking for a breakfast adventure, but not go miles north. Heard they offered breakfast right here, on Lindsey, 1 block west of Berry. Drove past it twice. Finally found it across from Arvest Bank. Man, they offer LOTS of interesting Mexican breakfasts. And traditional American too. I tried the Mexican BREAKFAST Juevos con Papas right away. I loved the Refried beans. And all the veggies they stir-fried in with the potatoes.
Could hardly wait until lunch time. Tried the COMBINATION Special Mexican Dinner: Enchilada (beef), Tamale w/ chili con carne topping, Beef Crispy Taco, w/ Rice & Refried Beans.
I ordered as small a portion of SOUP Caldo de Camaron as I could get (Shrimp w/ veggies). It was ultra good, savory, intensely flavorful. I wanted a half tablespoon of that with each bite of my entree!
Do they have beer, I asked. Yes! I got Tecate in a chilled mug w/ heavy lime pulp on the rim. Very quenching. Also remarkable, both for breakfast or lunch and dinner entrees, they bring you Tortilla chips, Salsa, and Queso dip right away. And for all type meals, they offer free Sopapillas for Desert. ( I declined,...
Read moreI'd give 0 stars if possible. Horrible food, horrible prices, sevice was good but it should be for as dead it was. I went in for lunch on a Tuesday afternoon and there were 2 people eating in the entire restaurant, which should have been a sign that it was not going to be a good experience but I gave the place a try based on prior reviews. This place is awful, I ordered the quesadilla lunch special with rice and beans and a crispy taco and paid $20 for poor quality food. The queso was luke warm, bland and watered down, the salsa was bland and did not taste fresh. The quesadilla was ok but was so small it didn't even satisfy my hunger. The beans tasted like rosarita or old el paso canned beans and the rice tatsed like uncle bens packaged rice. The fajita chicken in the quesadilla was bland and had no flavor. Just all around trash. I'll never eat here again period. I would recommend taco bell before I'd recommend this place. There are alot better Mexican restaurants in Norman to...
