Happy Monk — Restaurant in Norman

The bar tender and the cook were busy playing pool when we arrived. I guess they entered the Sunday evening tournament. We only got one round of drinks because the bar tender only came to check on us as we were leaving. Literally walking towards the door. The cook forgot about our food order. He ran past us about 30 minutes after I placed the order. Then came back with our food about 10-12 minutes later. I asked if he forgot about our order. He said,"no not at all." So I guess it's normal to take 40 minutes to make 12 boneless wings. When all he had were 2 orders. Our wings were also over cooked. Fayth and the other cook are much better for your business. The more you people check on the guests the more likely they will spend. Fayth usually gets us for about 3 rounds of drinks and a couple of meals. The bathrooms needed attention too but with all employees playing pool and drinking why...

I really like this place on Sundays. They have free pool and then on tuesdays they have karaoke. I used to go to this place a long time ago when it was called soonerr legends. Op's and we stamp a lot of fun when I was younger. I serve alcohol plenty of pool tables plenty of room, two big rooms and one big bar in each room. I would really like to see a lot more busier. But I did like to be able to go in there and get right on the table. The service was so so the bartender was kind of rude and she didn't say anything to us As soon as we got in there, we weren't greeted and we weren't asked if we wanted something to drink. I thought the atmosphere was pretty good. There wasn't a lot of scary people and there wasn't a lot of shenanigans going on. I do recommend this place very highly. I just wish they would hire some better quality and customer service...

It's a nice bar. Clean and newly remodeled. Very nice people that work there from my experiences so far. New felt on the valley tables and one diamond table. All 4 billiard tables are bar size. The other area, yes there is 2, one with the pool tables and a nice bar. And the other side has a nice big dance floor, large bar and seating. If your playing pool in norman I highly recommend going and checking it out. Also it is no smoking indoors. Which is greatly appreciated if your a non smoker. A++
