Fantastic dishes, non-existent service. I was there today to celebrate my birthday early with friends. We ordered four spicy dishes. Having lived in China for 8 years, the food here helped me relive the wonderful culinary memories that sorely lacked in Oklahoma. However, service was extremely poor. (1) The hot pot dish was served, and we had to ask the busboy to give us a serving spoon. The busboy gave us 4 because we have 3 other dishes coming. Now if you have been to any restaurant with trained staff, you'll notice that service utensils come with the dishes as they are served; serving utensils should not clutter the table when there are no dishes present! (2) We did not get our cups of water refilled! Remember the 4 spicy dishes we ordered? A second cup of water would have been nice. (3) When the check was put of the table, the busboy did not give any direction whether we are to pay at the cash register or he would pick up the payment. We sat there at our table wondering when somebody will want to take our money. (4) I walls up to pay, and I asked for a to go box. The person who was processing my card turned towards a pile of to-go boxes and told me to get one myself. As to whether it is proper or not for a restaurant diner to help themselves to a to-go box lying or in the open, I leave that conclusion up to your discretion.

All in all, great great food. Just be aware of impassionate service, which needs improvement to turn it into a great overall experience. And give your...

I'm going to preface this review by saying up until my recent experience, and the recent experience of two good friends of mine, this restaurant has been outstanding. I've been a patron of this restaurant for approximately 3-4 years now, but I will never be stepping foot in this place again after today. The food is wonderful, but the service is beyond innefectual as well as insulting in every conceivable fashion. In particular, a new waiter who is a very tall, slender man with thick, dark rimmed glasses is the cause of my ire. This man has been indescribably rude to myself, and to friends of mine during dine in AND take out experiences. His verbal utterings, and body language exhude emotions that reveal nothing short of absolute disgust for patrons. He does not greet, he scowls when spoken to, he routinely slams / throws / bangs personal effects (credit cards) and dishes at customers, and he is verbally abusive when asked for refills or any other actions that involve the performance of his job duties. All of the other staff up until said person's arrival have been friendly and courteous to customers. So, unless you enjoy dealing with an individual that treats you in a subhuman manner, and routinely reveals his vile physiognomy at every turn, I recommend taking your business to their...

I ordered pickup from Mr. Hui's on 07/08/2023. I ordered four main dishes, along with other items. Unfortunately, none of the four main dishes included any of the rice that the meals should have included. Since I live 20 minutes from the restaurant I called and requested the rice to be delivered or to provide a partial refund. The restuarant refused and told me I could come back to pick up the rice, they could give me a credit for the next time I place an order or I'd need to bring everything back in for a refund.

To me, these options were not acceptable. If I'd driven back to the restaurant to pick up the rice, it would cost me additional gas mileage and all of my other food would have been cold by the time I returned. The credit on a future order is not a guarantee for the next time I might order, who's to say the restuarant would honor that credit. And returning everything for a refund would then cost me the additional gas along with the original gas and I still wouldn't have dinner.

Time to find a new restaurant - who has...

Don't let the outside blandness and awful parking lot fool you. The decorations inside are charming, the staff are very sweet, the booths are comfortable, and the food is *very* good. There was a group of Chinese boys eating here, having a great time, speaking Cantonese and laughing happily while eating a fantastic spread; if you're one to judge how authentic a place is by patronage by ethically similar dinners. My only complaint with the food itself was that the egg drop soup didn't taste quite right. Otherwise, everything ranged from delicious to the best I've ever had. The menu was massive, the single largest selection of Chiese, Taiwanese, asian fusion, etc I've ever encountered. Another note for the hard working wait staff, who zipped around helping the cooks, keeping on top of drinks, and generally being the picture of hospitality. I love a place where I feel welcomed and the food is super good, and this place did those so well that I give it five stars regardless of the demure outside. Would absolutely go again.

Was surprised how good the food and service was here considering the outside appearance. From the street and parking lot the restaurant looks defunct and dilapidated. The front awning is falling apart and weeds are overgrown. Initially I thought the place was shutdown but it did have an open sign. Inside it was much better, clean, well lit, comfortable, but dated. I ordered spring rolls and orange chicken. The food came out in short time, and was hot & delicious. The waitress was helpful in my ordering, was attentive, and professional. I very much enjoyed my meal and the service but I am still scratching my head as to why the exterior looks so bad and on the inside is completely different.

I ate here for my birthday the other night and the environment was very hole in the wall restaurant, but their food was great hot and fresh. I really liked the orange chicken, it was honestly some of the better orange chicken I've had, it wasn't the sweet syrupy stuff a lot of places have, it was a big plate and it was orange chicken but they use much more spices in their recipe. it had a little heat indicating pepper next to it on the menu but it's not spicy just spiced well. and the crab Rangoon was good. I was very full at the end and we had to get boxes to go.
