I called in an order for pick up this evening, 3 diamond dawgs to go. I haven't been back to Norman in 5 years, and I couldn't WAIT (got two extras to take home even). They were ready when I arrived, I paid, left, drove 45 mins back to the city. I should have checked my food, I recognize that bc when I arrived, every single corndog was burnt in look, smell, and taste. It is 1am at this point, and I have to be at the airport at 4am. I called to explain the situation, and I offered to send a pic of the items for a refund. The manager said they would refund me or remake my order. They wanted "to make it right for me" ONLY if I drove back to give them the order in person. I explained I had to be at the airport in 3 hours and that was not an option. Furthermore, the bottom line is whoever packed this order KNEW they were burnt, and sent it out anyway. It should not be my responsibility to drive back and prove it. Either way, they said it was company policy and told me there was nothing to be done. I am in the industry, and I am appauled at how the situation was handled. From customer service to food quality, bad all around.

Used to love this place, but under the new ownership it’s gotten horrible. Never had fries this disgusting. Full of oil. Brown, double fried old fries. Their chips and queso was horrible. The hot dogs tasted okay but they used to be much bigger and much better. Gave the new ownership two chances and the food overall was awful both times.

The food is really good especially the fries. The staff here are all amazing. Very friendly and helpful. The OTR Old Fashioneds are fantastic. Again I can’t compliment the staff here enough. Prices are very reasonable. Yes it gets busy on game days and takes some time but it’s completely worth the wait.

This used to be my favorite spot on campus corner. It had such a phenomenal start, but ever since then, prices climbed and quality dropped.

Before anything else I will say the margarita is still the best you can get on campus corner and I would go back for that alone. In school it was the go-to for my group of friends after classes and activities.

The Wonderboy is good, but went from $2ish to $4+. It's a corn dog. One corn dog. The burgers were great, but climbed so much to the point that I think you're getting in the $10+ range for one burger?

Wonderboy strips were a great idea but they're just so tiny for how expensive everything ended up getting. Bunts used to be a favorite but they got rid of them. The tots were a great menu addition but I don't think they have those anymore either.

The specialty Dawgs themselves had a great start. They just got to being gradually underwhelming over time as prices climbed. I loved the ideas they used to have. I just miss how good this place was.

If you find yourself by here on a football weekend or something get the Wonderboy for the novelty of it and enjoy a strong margarita if you can budget them. The basic hot dogs are nowhere near worth it, cheap dogs with skunky onions that are overpriced. They didn't even have the old baseball stadium seats anymore last time I went which added so much of its thematic character. I'll always have good memories of this place when...

I really used to enjoy this place when it first opened, but it has become so terrible that I go out of my way to tell people not to go there. I know a lot of the former employees, and none of them had a single good thing to say about the owners. Now a lot of former employees have bad things to say about their former bosses, but after hearing the same things so many times it becomes hard to ignore. I have since asked more and more former employees about some of these alleged complaints and have discovered that many of them are not only true but are on going problems the owners refuse to deal with. The most disgusting thing that I have seen real evidence of is that the owners routinely short employees hours on their paychecks, and in many cases refuse to give them a final paycheck if they were fired or quit in a way that Buddy or Patrick Simon disagree with. I found this hard to believe but have talked with three separate former employees that have made complaints to the department of labor. These guys take advantage of young college kids because they have the power to do so. They have stated that you don't need to tip employees, but they pay them $4.50 an hour. And tips are how they make ends meet. So they expect you to tip. These guys...
