I'm putting this review here because I can't submit it on the app because big shocker doesn't work. Two weeks ago, Sunday evening around eleven p.m. I used the mobile order app. Got buy one get one free something, fries and a drink. When I came inside because the line was around building no one greeted me and lady walked by register, I counted, 8 times before even acknowledging me. Guy beside me was frustrated about something so started talking to him when she blurts out "what do you need??" I gave her mobile app number and before even got it out she says mobile not working. What did you order? I told her and she rings it up and puts her hand out. I said uh okay already paid on the app. This is when she raised her voice and said "I told you APP IS BROKEN!" I said well it might be for you but right here I paid for it and showed her order screen and what I paid on my cell phone. This is when she interrupts me to yell at me "no you didn't pay the app is broken. " This is when I lost patience. I told her I wasn't paying again because on this screen it shows my card charged and order number. She asks me for the receipt?? I said uh you guys print it out after I give you mobile app number.
I then sarcastically said "Do I need to pull up my banking app to show you?" At this point the manager with glasses and dark longer hair walks up because he hears her arguing with me and I look at him to start telling him situation and he immediately turns around and goes to back to hide. Never saw him again. So she's now yelling at me that I need to pay and I told her the order number again as I'm pulling up my banking app. She asks for order number again so I pull up McDonalds app and then she GRABS MY CELL PHONE OUT OF MY HAND. She doesn't say a word when she flings my phone on counter as she walks off. So I just sit there and I say uh hello? Another person answers it will be a second. So after I walk off because I'm so angry I return to see another lady waiting, completely ignoring her like what was done to me. And she asks me what was going on? I said I have no idea. Lady puts bag of food on counter and says do you need anything else? I said maybe an apology for being called a liar multiple times about me paying on the app. She rolls her eyes And in the most condescending rude tone says, "YOU just have a great day"
Lady was older, Hispanic or native American with short hair and black glasses. I've never been so pissed off at a fast food restaurant before. Maybe you should explain to your employees that You HAVE TO PAY IN ADVANCE ON THE MOBILE APP. there is no other option so when someone comes in with an order number then should know they've already paid instead of arguing with them for over ten minutes about how they haven't paid. I thought I was on a show like punk'd or something it was that bad. If you hate people that much, don't be in customer service. And your "manager" is a weasely good for nothing piece of doo who turned tail and ran during this incident.
I will never go here again, hell I'll drive two or 3 miles out of my way to avoid this one. They burn the nuggets and strips also, so bad my dog won't even touch them. If anyone in corporate or management, actual management reads this plz have some kind of meeting with your employees. Their incompetence is only outdone by their rudeness and indecency. And reading these comments it seems to be an ongoing problem at this...

And the half you get only has half the ingredients!!!!
First, they really saved us some calories by not having Ice Cream.... They NEVER have ice cream. Ice cream lovers can definitely save the calories here.
When the helpful, attentive server at the drive thru window gave us our order with the large fries on top, it was brimming over. Yes, I was about to overeat. Tons of calories in those fries, not to mention the rest of our order.
The waiter, ever solicitous of our health, realized how awful this might be He asked for our bag and receipt back, saving face for us and bravely accepting responsibility for our health. The bag came back with my Crispy Deluxe Chicken Sandwich on top. He waived us on, trying to keep me from the massive calories of my Mocha Frappe', but I realized his ruse, slammed on the brakes and backed up adroitly missing the car behind me and forced the server to give me the Frappe', such was my lust for food.
But I need not have feared. He had anticipated our gluttony. When we pulled the Crispy Chicken Deluxe off the top, we found the box was nestled into the Large Fries container that he had thoughtful removed most of the fries from. This not only saved us from those extra calories, but also likely helped save a tree. The order would have needed an extra bag if he hadn't made the fries and sandwich occupy the same space at the same time. Of course if he had taken this to its logical conclusion, we might have not needed even one bag. But at his pay, you can't expect him to think of everything. He did however thoughtfully remove the other order of fries completely. So, there is that in his favor.
He really helped us a lot. Our Apple Pie was nowhere to be seen. The calory savings there was immense! Perhaps even better, he managed to really help out with the Bacon McDouble. Bacon can be a real diet buster. So, no bacon here!! And I swear, though I can't prove it, that he had taken a single patty and sliced it sideways through the middle, making it LOOK like two!! Wow! The illusion of two patties, helping us THINK we had gotten some food.
Amazingly there was yet another helpful illusion. You know how calorific Coke is: Virtually liquid sugar. But the sugar is all in the syrup. Soda water has no sugar. So, there was JUST enough syrup to color the water brown. Except for the complete lack of taste, we would have NEVER KNOWN, there were no calories there.
However, I must fault him on the veggies. Those CAN be healthy. But in his haste to remove calories, he inadvertently took away all the vegetable matter from the Bacon McDouble. The Big Mac and Crispy Chicken Deluxe were sadly almost intact. So, we still may have gotten more calories than are good. But McDonalds is really making an effort to help us stay healthy!
Even better, the cost was literally only slightly more than if we had eaten at the nearby Chinese Buffet. And THEY hate their customers so much that they actually leave food just sitting around to be eaten. If I had wanted food, I wouldn't have gone to a restaurant!!
They should advertise our local McDonalds as a health club.
We tried to call and thank them. But, they must be getting so many "Thank Yous" that they aren't even answering, despite our many, many...
Read moreI would give less than one star if I could. I cannot stand this McDonald’s. A few months ago I felt differently. There is a very tall manager that I haven’t seen in awhile. When they were there, service was amazing. It was fast and even right every time!
Now, not so much. I come more often than I’m willing to admit. The drive thru is constantly backed up. Curbside takes 40+ minutes even when the place is empty.
I’m not one to complain but after consistently horrible service it’s time to say something.
Here’s an extreme story from the night of September 9. I ordered a Travis Scott meal through the drive thru after seeing the meal listed on the app for $5 and on the order board for $5. I was even on the phone bragging about the $5 deal! I get to pay and it’s $6 and some change. No big deal, I just wanted to know if I accidentally made a modification or something to make the up charge. So I kindly asked the long haired male working the 1st window of the drive thru what it was that made it a dollar more. I even emphasized to him that I don’t care about the $1 I just want to know what I was paying extra for. He snapped at me and informed me the meal is $6.00 and my total was $6.48 (or something close to that.) I informed him that his menu board said the meal was $5 as does the app and he told me I wasn’t seeing straight and I needed to pay my $6.48. I paid the total and informed my friend on the phone that maybe I just misread it but I was almost certain the meal was $5. I got to the next window and asked to see the manager. He’s a shorter dark haired kid. I mentioned that I believe the menu board was incorrect and he might also talk to the kid working the first window and he sarcastically replied “yeah okay I’ll get on that right now” and left. No apologies, nothing. I received my food but out of curiosity I pulled back around and SURE ENOUGH the menu said the Travis Scott meal was $5. By this time I was fuming because the treatment from this place. I took a photo and pulled back through and was greeted with a “oh, it’s you again.” I showed the long haired kid, still no apology and I asked him to grab his manager. He refused multiple times before I told him I wasn’t moving until he was there. Finally the manager arrives, rolls his eyes; I show him the photo and he says something sarcastic and lets me know he doesn’t have time to deal with this right now. I go to the next window and he pokes his head out and says “my name is Nathan by the way.” As if he wanted me to write this review. So here you go Nathan, your management skills are trash!
If I can figure out how to post the...
