Will never shop here again. Came in because I got a coupon mailed to my house that literally had my name on it for $10 off $20. Upon first walking in, an older lady with short brown hair and glasses told me I couldn't have my purse in the store because it looked like a backpack. When she asked to take it I assumed she would have a place for said bags if it was such a problem, but instead threwn it on the floor behind the register. I decided I would leave my bag in my car instead and came back into the store. At this point I realized I was definitely being profiled, as this same woman would follow me from aisle to aisle and pretend to act busy slightly adjusting items on the shelf, but obviously just watching me, and not offering to help or anything of the sort. I asked about something I had seen online, and she was very curt and unhelpful. Then when I go to pay for my items and use said coupon with a different older lady at the register, they both claimed that even though my coupon was sent to me, and has my name on it, because I don't have a previous rewards account I can't use it. I asked if I can make a rewards account now and use it, they said I still wouldn't be able to use it today. I read all the fine print on the coupon and it said nothing about being rewards exclusive, and I also called corporate to file a complaint who confirmed this is not the case. Neither woman in the store offered to comp the coupon to make it right, or offered to call a manager, or do anything other than tell me I'm out of luck for no reason. They had a problem with me from the moment I walked in, and I will never set foot in...

First of all I want to say I love shopping at Ace. Today I went into the Ace hardware on 12 ave in norman ok to get a couple of items. I was walking down each isle just looking and shopping around when I noticed the staff following me around so I asked them why they were following me and was told there is a lot of theft and they were doing their job so I explained I shop there all the time and would not steal from them I like coming here too much(plus I just dont steal at all). I was told again they were just doing their job. I put my stuff down and went to my car. I needed the stuff I had so I went back in to get it and was followed by 2 employees with no regard. When I asked why they were following me again I was told "I'm just providing great customer service". I felt like it was sarcastic like she new I was stealing just by looking at me. I am Hispanic by the way. So she threatened to call the cops and I left. I went back about an hour later trying to reason with them. I offered to leave my I.D. with them and I just wanted to shop there. This time with no answer as to why I could not shop there the manager then called the cops on me. My wife went in the store to get the items I needed and an employee (a man) twice her size got in her face and pushed her back I told him twice to get back from my wife and he would not stop so I entered the store and he tried to attack me by pushing through my wife. The cops came and gave me a ticket. PLEASE...

I had gone to Ace Hardware 3 weeks ago to buy a grill. When I got there I waited to get help getting a grill but no one helped. I started to leave the store when the manager stopped me. I told him I was going to Lowes to get a grill and he said here's one for $200 you don't need an expensive one. So I took him up on it and they delivered the grill. I got the propane bottle hooked up but it wouldn't start. I called the manager and said it wouldn't start so he had an employee come to the house and he couldn't start it.I worry all week and so that Saturday I called the manager again. He said he'd call me Saturday morning have an employee come pick it up by noon. I didn't receive a call so I waited till 3 and called them back. The employee who answered said the manager was out and they knew about the situationand thought it had been taken care of. So the following I called the manager and he said leave the gate unlocked and they would pick it up if it didn't work or leave it there if it did. The grill was still there so I tried to start it it again but it didnt start. I even went to buy a new propane tank and it would'nt start. So I' given up. 3 weeks of frustration and losing $200 plus dollars. Dont deal with this store. Im going to Lowes to buy...
