Next door to my shop Minuteman Press of North Arlington is a new shop that just opened and is called Cupcake Carriage! My daughter was so excited she found this cute little spot to get me a birthday treat. On April 27th she stoped in and purchased six cupcakes which cost thirty dollars and thirty nine cents. She bought fun fetti , cookies and cream, s’mores, apple pie, raspberry, and blue berry something. The presentation was cute but the cupcakes were awful. The vanilla cupcake batter tasted old and doughy. The chocolate ones were stale and they were super dry. We cut the cupcakes in fours to try them and no one was happy. This was our first experience and not a good one to say the least. We love supporting small but this was not good overall.

To add insult the injury the owner responded to my post and then call my daughter to ask her if she would like a refund or more cupcakes. When my daughter told her she would prefer a refund she told my daughter to remove my honest review and then she would give the money back. I told my daughter I will not remove it because it was honest and I would give her the money she spent. If this is how they do business we are not interested. I stopped at the Cupcake carriage this morning and I was surprised by how friendly and lovely the person who was in the front She welcomed us and was so happy to have us in her store. I stopped only for few cupcakes for me and my son but she took her time to explain all what’s available with all the delicious flavors and offered a gift for my toddler who was extremely happy about it cause this doesn’t happen everywhere it was our first time at the store and we will definitely go back and recommend her store to all friends and family for their future events. They make birthday cakes and cakes or cupcakes for any special event. The cupcakes was extremely delicious and the ingredients used was definitely great quality ingredients that’s why their products are tasty and high quality.Thank you very much for the amazing service and we hope to see...
