Mackie's Family Restaurant — Restaurant in North Attleborough

I wanted to support the local restaurants in the surrounding area during the pandemic, so I ordered takeout breakfast this past Tuesday from Mackie's - one of our family favorites. After calling in and ordering an omelette, I headed down to pick it up, being sure to wear my cloth face mask.

When I arrived at Mackie's, there were a number of people eating inside at the bar and at the tables. NO ONE was wearing a face mask! There was about 5 or 6 feet of social distancing between groups, but the waitress TOOK HER FACE MASK OFF AT EVERY TABLE, then pulled it back up when she walked away!! It was insane! I waited in the corner next to the door so that I was near fresh air. I watched all of this unfold over five minutes while waiting. If I hadn't already placed my order over the phone, I would have turned around and walked out.

This may be my last order with Mackie's Family Restaurant. I was so discombobulated that EVERYONE inside this small, enclosed restaurant was not wearing a mask - including the staff. The food was okay, but I really don't want to reward the ignorance that was on display by making any future purchases. Time to find a new local...

this is by far disgusting. came here with my husband for breakfast and when the waitress came to bring us our food we noticed a cockroach on the wall to my left.told the waitress that here was a cockroach on her wall and she proceeded to remove it with her hand she left then I saw her not even two minutes later Seating some of other customers. did she even have time to wash your hands? I think not. then some other girl came to check up on us send the one that remove the cockroach didn't bother we told her we were not going to eat because there was a cockroach on the wall and she said sorry didn't offer to move us to another table didn't offer to get the manager it's almost like they experience this everyday and didn't care...

I found this place by chance the first time I came , the service was well timed and the food had good flavor; their breakfast dessert were tasty. I noticed they had a kids menu which Is good. The server was consistent polite. I then came a second time with family a few months later . The entire experience was a complete opposite. They took too long to ask for our drink ( most were coffee water) the server wasn’t consistent at all she even skipped / forgot to bring the child’s drink in my party . We had to ask a different server for it. The condiments on the table were empty she didn’t bother with at all ... she didn’t show until our food was brought to us. The food is good yes, just...
