Perfect Pizza — Restaurant in North Bergen

I rated this a 2 star because there customer service was great, without that I would have rated it a 1 star. I was stuck in traffic and they held off on my order for me for additional time which was much appreciated. After seeing the barstool review we were very excited to try the pizza. We ordered a large mushroom and sausage pizza, buffallo wings, and the calamari. The calamari was soggy and chewy, the sauce that came with it was good though. It was very low quality. The wings were overdone, tough, and soggy. Once again the sauce on the wings was great, perfect amount of spice, but the wings themselves were terrible. 7/11 has better wings in my opinion and that says a lot. The pizza lacked both cheese and sauce, the flavor was good but the crust was chewy and tough to eat. The toppings tasted really good though luckily. The mushrooms weren't canned which I appreciated. I literally dislike pizza. I’ve tried pizza from an abundance of different restaurants, and I never ordered a second time from any. This place is single-handedly the best pizza I’ve ever tried. I’m such a picky eater, yet the food at Perfect Pizza is on my list of my favorite food ever. I tell everyone I know that once they try Perfect Pizza, they can never go back, and I’m right every time! The people that work here are incredibly welcoming and friendly, and it’s such a comfortable environment. The fact it isn’t elegant adds to that intimate atmosphere, and it makes this place so comfortable. Plus, it’s not just the pizza that’s delicious, everything else is too! I say the name fits or comes very close. I got the Buffalo chicken and the 5 cheese pies and boy, were they delicious. A great food critic once said, pizza is first bread. Well, my friends these guys make great bread. The crust had the right amount of chew, the pull, the "doughiness", and that hint of sweetness you taste on a masterfully baked bread. I honestly thought the crust would make a great sandwich. That's how good it was and the rest, as they say fo'gettaboutit.
