Six Corners Café has been a go-to spot for me and my partner for quite a while. The food is delicious, fairly priced, and we’ve usually had fantastic service in the past. Unfortunately, that has changed recently and we’ve decided to stop going. The issue is with a new front-of-house employee who seems extremely disorganized and inattentive. Today, when I went to place a simple order (an omelet with two ingredients and avocado toast), he turned his back on me mid-conversation and said he was listening while doing other things. There were a total of 5 people including me and my partner so I didn't think that was necessary but fine. He then has me repeat my extremely simple order because he clearly was not listening. Then, before I could add our coffee orders, he walked away and started taking the next customer’s order. When I mentioned that our order was not completed, he told me to wait until he was ready? I sat down to wait for him to "be ready" and he decided to yell at me from the front counter to come back up to finish placing my order. This seems to be his standard because this is the second time this literal exact situation has occured. The food is still great, the woman working in the kitchen is amazing, the female front of house worker is fantastic, but the horrible service from the male front of house worker has made it...
Read moreThe service here is horrible. The South American lady in the front is rude and entitled. She has a nasty attitude and does not offer help. She was rude to me and did not apologize. This is not a place to go if you are looking for a welcoming environment. The food isn't bad but the service is hurting them badly. I will not be returning. There are other businesses in the area I can support without being disrespected. If the owner sees this you need to get rid of that front desk girl. Even the food and beverage vendors there were talking about how rude she is. How could you let someone like this be the frontline of your business? Also, the wait time. I ordered 2 breakfast sandwiches and 1 coffee. Why did it take an hour and a half to make this? When I walked into the business there were 5-6 people sitting all frustrated because they have been waiting for a long time for their food. When I asked what's taking so long the lady in the front told me if I want I can check the back and see how busy they are. When my food and someone else's food was finally ready she slammed the sandwiches on to the counter out of frustration. If you don't believe me, check the camera Mr. Owner. I would not recommend to anyone in this area especially if...
Read morePrior to today I would have given this place 5 stars. The owner is a great guy and I have always been treated to great food and a polite experience. Today I noticed a sandwich I usually buy for 5 dollars increased to 7.74. A more than 50% increase. (bought the exact same sandwich last week for 6 dollars plus tax) When I mentioned it, the new worker (I believe his name is Bo) was condescending and had the nerve to say I was not being truthful. I live less than 4 blocks from there and have been going there for 10 years or more. As long as that guy works there I will not return. I understand prices increase, it happens. But what I don't expect is the be treated as if my business isn't valued. In this town the last thing you want to do is alienate your loyal local customers. Found out the guy even lied to me. There are new owners. Originally gave 3 stars now I give one. I will...
