Sole Pizza — Restaurant in North Bergen

If I could give this pizzeria 0 stars, I would. Unfortunately for review purposes google made me pick at least one star. I ordered a fairly large order for take out today. Upon opening the order in my home, I realized there were onions in my food. I specifically asked for “‘no onions” and the employee who took my order repeated back/confirmed my request prior to hanging up. If it was possible to take the onions out myself I would but it was impossible due to the the sandwiches being hot, all the ingredients had melted together. I called the pizzeria and asked them to remake my two sandwiches which they denied me. I respectfully asked whom I was speaking with, the employee laughed and stated “the one who’s covering 3 positions right now, that’s who you’re speaking with”. The employee stated they were “too busy and had other orders to worry about” and also told me “the chef got mad at me when I told him you didn’t want tomatoes or onions”. I then told the employee that it is not my fault their facility is understaffed and his personal issue with the chef is not mine. There was absolutely no one inside the restaurant, I understand they might have been occupied with other pick up orders but just because you’re busy that doesn’t mean that you stop doing your job or give customers less quality. It is a disservice to your paying customers. I asked to speak to the manager and was told they were not in. I went back to the pizzeria and received a refund for my full order in cash and will be calling the manager tomorrow morning. I have never in my life experienced a more disrespectful customer service. I do not recommend this pizzeria to anyone and will certainly never order...

For those who are giving this place anything under 2 stars...I'm under the impression either they chose a bad day, or are not being completely honest in their review.

The one thing that needs definite improvement is their timing. Despite being true to their word on the online ordering, my personal opinion is that 1 hour and 10 minutes is a tad too long for food.

Despite the timing, the food was well prepared and I enjoyed every bit. The plain pizza had good flavor. Chicken fingers were tender, wings had a crispy texture and we're cooked to perfection. The sausage roll could have been a little crispier, but still very good. My only concern was there was a disproportion of sausage slices in each half of the roll. Pricing is very reasonable. Sole Pizza is just a short distance from me, and I'd definitely be buying...

Great service and nice little find. I came here with some friends. The pizza, calzone, calamari and greek salad were so good with nice portions! The 3 of us were easily able to share everything. The cooks and man behind the counter were so friendly and attentive to everything we needed. We ate like queens and it was so affordable. I pass this place all the time while working. Definitely plan...
