Really eclectic little restaurant in North Bergen! The portions here are insanely big. Every plate you see in the pictures is for one person. I never start with the entres, but it's appropriate here. I got the chicken parm, but with vodka sauce instead of marinara (trust me, do it!). I get it every time unless I get it with marinara, but either way, you can't go wrong. The penne vodka comes with the tray of chicken parm. Every portion is three pieces of chicken and an entire plate of pasta. If you like getting your money's worth, this is your place. Now, as for the apps, everyone gets bread, bruchetta, and apple salad - it just comes with it - as if there wasn't enough to eat. On top of all that, it's a byob..... the really unique thing, though, is the atmosphere. It's an antique shop where you can literally buy the stuff you're sitting around - I'm almost certain you can buy the tables you eat off of. Total price wise, you'll feel like you're stealing. Staff is great, I don't have anything bad to say. Overall, I give Di Palma Brothers a 4.6 out of 5, an NJ unique must visit!

Di Palma Brothers: A Deliciously Classic Italian Escape! Step into DiPalma Brothers and be transported! This gem serves up all the red-sauce Italian-American comfort you crave, with a creative, antique-shop vibe that's both unique and wonderfully cozy. From the moment the complimentary bruschetta and salad hit the table, we knew we were in for a treat. The calamari, zucchini, and cheese appetizer was a perfect starter, followed by a stellar Chicken Francaise (kudos for the whole wheat pasta option!) and a classic Veal Parmigiana expertly paired with broccoli rabe. Even the BYOB policy felt welcoming. Service was the definition of attentive yet unhurried, allowing us to savor every bite and the charming atmosphere. We capped off our leisurely feast by splitting a delightful tiramisu and coffee. Leaving with plenty of leftovers for a next-day indulgence was the cherry on top. For a truly satisfying and memorable Italian meal, Dipalma Brothers hits every high note!

Mama Mia. Crazy large portions of delicious Italian dishes. It's like dining in someone's elegant, but cozy, home furnished with lavish antiques. The service, by Trevor, was excellent. The sauce in the meatball appetizer was fantastic, and the meatballs are light and melt in your mouth. We also shared the "Sunday Gravy" dish of braciole, sausage, meatball, beef ribs and ziti combo. It was wonderful and so largely portioned it gave us 2 more servings at home. This is also an antique store so it's interesting to browse around after your meal. Even the restrooms are furnished with antiques, as you can see in my photos. (I normally don't take photos of restrooms, but their's is special.) Very small parking lot. Tip: if you use a gps to locate the restaurant, make sure the address is to WEST Kennedy Blvd and not East.

We have been coming here for many events over the years as well as just for ourselves for dinner. Most recently, we were here for a family members repast as well as having to host a repast ourselves within two days of each other. The owner Raffaelle graciously opened the restaurant for us on his day off to assist us in our time of need to have our repast on a Monday. Raffaelle, his wait staff (Maria, Richard and Nazareth) were were absolutely wonderful. They were very accommodating, available and all smiles to assist us with anything we or our guests needed. We even had a few gluten free family members which he prepared special meals for at the last moment. The family has not stopped talking about the quality and quantity of the food presented. OMG there are a few recipes I would like to get my hands on. To name some of our favorites, The bruschetta on homemade bread with local farm fresh tomatoes are OUTRAGEOUSLY delicious. Appetizers of meatballs, eggplant balls, fresh mozzarella and tomatoes and calamari were all fabulous. Their homemade marinara used for meatballs as well as calamari is so fresh and delicious we could just eat that with a spoon. Entree's of rigatoni bolognese, broccoli rabe sausage and cavatelli and chicken francese served with sautéed green beans were all quite good. Friends and family were so stuffed and satisfied there were friendly arguments over who would get leftovers to take home! ( By the way, Raffaelle and the staff go so out of their way to accommodate your every wish for to go plates, bags, etc etc.) To top it all off, the Tiramisu and fresh filled mini cannoli's are the best in the world. When we had the Tiramisu at the first repast on Saturday, I had family members requesting we have it again Monday because they loved it so much. Both days we had slightly different menu's but there was not a single thing we had at either luncheon that I would not order again at a regular dinner here. The bottom line, Raffaelle, your restaurant would get 10 stars in our book! We thank you, your wonderful chef, the kind staff whom took away all the stress we were going through. The meal was memorable and we will...

What a place. From the moment you step inside, the atmosphere is one of a kind—eclectic, warm, and filled with treasures you can actually take home. But beyond the décor, Di Palma Brothers is something truly special.

I was here for a funeral reception, and I can’t imagine a better setting for such an occasion. On a cold, grey, and somber day, the ambiance provided a much-needed lift. It felt comfortable, welcoming, and infused with a certain lightness that made all the difference. And then there was the food—perhaps the best I’ve ever had at an event like this. As someone who is extremely picky about Italian cuisine, I was genuinely impressed. The pork chop Milanese was outstanding, the tiramisu and cannoli were perfection, and the fact that this level of quality was maintained for a catered party of 60 is even more remarkable.

Beyond the meal, the experience was enhanced by the unexpected delight of browsing through a collection of vintage fashion from legendary designers—Hermès, Chanel, Fendi, Versace, and more. It added a touch of joy and celebration that I know our departed friend would have appreciated. In fact, I can’t help but think she might have been looking down, wondering why we didn’t visit Di Palma Brothers sooner. She would have loved it.

For anyone considering this venue for an event, it’s worth every penny—not just for the food, but for the warmth, the experience, and the seamless way they turn a gathering into something...

I’M not one to write reviews but this time I had to. We were very disappointed with the Restaurant, service and attitude of the waiters, This was my 2nd time going to Di Palma Restaurant The first time was about 4 months ago we celebrated a friend’s birthday we brought cake and wine (no problems) This time it was my wife’s birthday we had reservation for 4 people, we brought a bottle of wine and a small cake, the waiter told us we couldn’t bring a cake, have it cut and served or even store it in the refrigerator. I asked to speak to the manager or the owner, he said the manager or owner wasn’t there, I wanted to leave but I didn’t want to completely ruin my wife’s birthday, and look for another restaurant, How can we celebrate a birthday and can’t bring a cake or anyone sing Happy birthday. The waiters very unprofessional they didn’t even open the bottle of wine or put it on ice for us, almost spilled red sauce on one of us, they took the order brought the food and where never seen or heard from again, I was so uncomfortable and disappointed, We weren’t able to sing happy birthday to my wife, we rushed home with the cake before it was completely ruined. A good restaurant is determined by the food...
