Hello I want to share my experience with this bar. I use to be a regular at Harry’s. Every Thursday my girlfriends, coworkers and I would go. This one time I decided to go by myself. I went with some girl, her brother and her brother’s friends. They met us up at harry’s. The waiter Frank a Colombian man put all their orders under my name. Without asking me first. Unfortunately these people that I just met walked out on the bill. Harry’s made me pay $45 for the bill. I called the next day to get my refund. I spoke to the owner Alex about my situation and he told me to come in to discuss what we could do. So I come in that day and Alex was not there. Derrick the bar manager told me that I could speak to the manager Austin. I actually saw Austin on my way to the bathroom. Then Derrick comes to tell me that Austin will gladly refund me my money. If the people who walked out come to Harry’s and pay for it. But I couldn’t get in contact with these people because they walked out on my on purpose! Austin stayed upstairs on the second floor to avoid confrontation. Anyway I was super upset because they did not help me at all. Knowing I was a regular customer. Also one of my girlfriends from work.Nathalie and her friends went to Harry’s last Thursday April 4th. The bar manager Derrick accidentally gave my friend the wrong credit card. My friend was very upset. Lastly, I went to Harry’s yesterday April 9th with a friend. To drink and eat. There was this bartender named Christina I believe. She was so rude. She was really passive aggressive and spoke to Derrick about how she thought that I was a “bitch”. Honestly I feel like that place lacks basic customer service. The fact that they don’t protect their regular customers says a lot about them. There was this bartender named Laura who was super sweet and was extremely informative about her drinks. Even when people would be rude to her. She knew exactly how to handle it. By not taking anything personal. There was this waiter named Elliott who was also amazing. I don’t go to Harry’s anymore but they keep changing it up and I don’t think for the better. I was there yesterday and another customer was complaining that the drink menu changed. In conclusion I feel like I must warn people because the fact that the Bar Manager messed up on giving my friend the wrong credit card. Shows the lack of professionalism on their part. Thank you for...
Read moreI’ve been a devoted customer of your restaurant for years. Not a passerby. Not a one-time visitor. A regular. The kind of person who brings friends, recommends you to strangers, and knows your menu better than I know my own schedule. And at the center of it all was one thing: the grilled chicken sandwich. Not just a sandwich—the sandwich.
You didn’t just serve grilled chicken. You served grilled greatness. The perfect balance of flavor, texture, and satisfaction. It hit every time. Rain or shine, good day or bad, I could rely on that sandwich like an old friend. So you can imagine the existential spiral I went into when I saw it was gone.
I refreshed the menu page. I checked twice, three times. I asked the staff like I was missing something obvious. “It must be hiding somewhere,” I thought. “They couldn’t just remove it.” But you did. And with that one decision, a core part of my dining routine collapsed. I wouldn’t be writing this if I weren’t still in disbelief.
Here’s the part that stings: no replacement can fill its shoes. You can offer all the other sandwiches you want, slap fancy aioli on a bun, throw in seasonal ingredients and name it after a tree—but nothing touches that grilled chicken classic. You took the gold standard and quietly buried it, as if nobody would notice. We noticed. I noticed.
So with all the respectful fire a loyal customer can muster, I’m asking—begging—you to bring it back. Right this wrong. Course correct. It’s not too late. Reignite what you had. The grilled chicken sandwich wasn’t just food—it was identity. It was loyalty. It was taste done right. And its absence is not just felt—it’s mourned.
I hope you realize I wrote all of this… over a chicken sandwich. I know im not alone, lets all rise up...
Read moreWe were in the area and tried this gastro pub out. All around great spot. The service was excellent and genuinely friendly. I was so stuffed after my date (wifey) and I tried to taste a wide range of dishes. I've been reading about their Mac n cheese and knew that I needed to try it. We ordered the ribs which came with a nice size side of the Mac n cheese. We also tried the octopus, wings and one of the taco specials (fish with salsa verde). My wife had the salmon entree over risotto. We pretty much finished everything but left room for dessert. I had a great cup of coffee and we shared a killer tiramisu. I want to also mention the perfect ambience for our meal. I'm not trying to exaggerate when I say that the music playing from my first step into the restaurant and until I left was the best I ever heard. Now of course, I'm biased because I love new wave and 80s music. My wife and I both do, and we were smiling the whole time and just lucky to be there during a great set of back to back songs. I did mention to the waiter about the music selection, and he gave me some insight on how the music changes and how there is a live DJ later on in the evening. Unfortunately we had a show to catch in the city and couldn't hang out longer. We also soaked in the style of the room. It's so cool and tasteful. Back to the food. The Mac n cheese was decadent. The ribs were falling off the bone. The tacos and wings had a nice kick and the grilled octopus was so delicious! We are hardly in NJ, but I will definitely return whenever I am in the area. One last thing....look at the cool exterior too! So much character and just another sign of the detail and care that goes into making your experience great from...
