MezeHub — Restaurant in North Bethesda

We have no Greek import store near us, and I recently found MezeHub online having great reviews: so, I called to see if they carried a specific perishable, refrigerated, Greek product which we could not find anywhere else. I was so happy when they told me they carried it and could ship it to me! I went ahead and placed my first order.

Months before I ordered from a different Import store and had been very disappointed with the lack of respect on the phone, and care in packaging my order. The cheeses came warm. My husband and I were hoping it would be different with MezeHub.

It was! How very pleasantly surprised and impressed we were when our order arrived very quickly, very fresh, very well packed, and still very cold! The careful packaging insured our order arrived in perfect condition.

We are so happy that we agreed we are going to place our future orders with MezeHub. The people I spoke to.over the phone were pleasant and helpful, they have all the products we want, the packaging is great, and the pricing is very reasonable. we’re going to place our second order next week. What a pleasant surprise! I was dropping off some donations at Goodwill and found this amazing specialty grocery store up the hill. It's not big, but they pack an incredible array of Balkan (and other European) specialties into the space. I bought a delicious spread/dip called Ajver from Macedonia made of roasted red peppers and roasted eggplants and an excellent heat and serve Spinach and Cheese Burek, similar to Spanakopita. And by the way, if there is any vegetable that can be pickled and jarred, they have it! There isn't just a single choice of anything here, they have many options/brands and different spice levels from mild to hot. The owners are very friendly and happy to give recommendations. I also found the prices to be very reasonable compared to the Eastern European groceries on Rockville Pike that I've shopped at previously. I will definitely visit...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Mezehub, and it was an absolutely delightful experience from start to finish. The owner's warm hospitality created a welcoming atmosphere, making me feel right at home. The cleanliness and neatness of the place were commendable, adding to the overall positive impression.

Now, onto the food – it was nothing short of spectacular! I indulged in the lahmajun, which was perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. The pide was equally delicious, with its flavorful toppings and crispy crust. To top it off, the Turkish coffee was rich and aromatic, a perfect way to end the meal.

Overall, I can't recommend Mezehub enough. If you're looking for authentic Balkan/Turkish/Mediterranean cuisine served with a smile, this is the place to be. Five...
