CORT Furniture Outlet — Local services in North Bethesda

I had an absolutely five star shopping experience at the Rockville Cort Furniture Outlet store. Exceptional customer service and value!!!

This includes the entire process from selection and purchase of various items to organizing and wrapping them as needed for pickup, in this case by my movers. The store staff’s professionalism and care they demonstrated was what you would find at a luxury store like Nordstrom. Moreover the term “Outlet” in their store name is somewhat misleading. It implies such things as “poor quality” and a “flea market.” Surprisingly when you walk around the store the opposite is true. Yes part of their inventory is used rental furniture, but the vast majority of those items are in mint condition. Furthermore many of the items the sell are brand new. Second the superior quality of items the store sells is what you would find at higher end retailers and Crate & Barrel catalogs. However unlike these stores, the items at Cort are at rock bottom prices you won’t find anywhere else even “on sale.” And the store sells more than just furniture. They sell also other beautiful items like rugs and wall pictures at incredible prices.

I would like to give kudos to Lisa the sales associate I dealt with there, who shaped my remarkable customer experience at this Cort store. Lisa was simply amazing providing extraordinary customer service in meeting my needs and addressing my concerns. She was very courteous, pleasant, and very knowledgeable about furnishing a home and the store inventory. She was very calm and patient with me as I was very stressed out by the process of being a first time home buyer and the looming home purchase closing date. She is also extremely conscientious with a hyper- focused attention to detail. She characteristically would go beyond the call of duty as a sales associate. For example, she searched for needed bolts and screws to attach a headboard I bought at the store and directed me on how to purchase a replacement key for the lock of an office desk I purchased there. I ended up coming to the store a few times to make returns and purchase new items. Lisa however always made me feel comfortable and welcome under those circumstances and never like I was being annoying or irritating. Despite my changing my mind multiple times, she managed to keep an accurate and complete itemized list of all the pieces I bought.The store scans each item into their computer system at time of purchase and time of pickup from the store so not items are left behind then.

I also want to give a shoutout to the rest of the Rockville Cort Team: Donte, a sales associate and Elijah the store manager and the customer-centric service they provided. In particular, on the day of the order pickup by my movers, I was astounded how thoughtful and ginger they were in organizing my items dispersed throughout store and prepping each item for pickup so it would not get damaged in transport. I hope my moving company does as good a job as the Cort team did!

In summary I give Cort the highest recommendation to consumers’ looking to purchase furniture or other specific home décor. The quality, price and customer service they provide is unmatched. It should be noted that I am very picky...

Lisa was AMAZZZING! I am new to the area & needed quality furniture at an excellent rate & turn around. Lisa showed me CORT's meticulously curated selection & she was so welcoming & friendly to me & my service animal 🤗🐕‍🦺 💜 .

This CORT location has excellent new & lightly used furniture. Lisa explained that the used furniture is usually from businesses & the pieces are thoroughly sanitized by professionals before going on sale. I purchased a new couch with an exquisite sectional in a blue that "pops"...and I purchased a lovely used dining table set & desk set...perfect for days when I am working from home remotely. I've never had such a lovely & quick experience in a furniture store. Also they have same day delivery which is a huge plus! Aniba & Richard were also kind...

Their bedroom selection is not as plentiful...but they did have a few vanity sets. I also scored a huge foldable work table that I will use for art projects. It's funny b/c my mom recently spent thousands on a similar couch set from Macy's...it took 6 months to arrive (supposedly due to COVID) & the quality is not nearly as good as my couch. Don't allow a fancy store name to fool you into throwing away money on subpar furniture. CORT has excellent pieces for an affordable price tag. Trust me you cannot beat the customer service, quality, or price...highly recommended...

Shopping at Cort Furniture was the best experience I had this year. One of the representatives name Lisa was very fast with responding to my email request. I went in the next day and she was very professional it seemed like she already knew what I was looking for because everything that she was showing me I wanted it and brought it. I was in and out of Cort Furniture Outlet in Rockville MD less than 40mins. My apartment bed, dinning and living room are filled with Cort Furniture for an affordable price. If it wasn't for Lisa responding to my email I would probably just have a bed. I will refer everyone that I know to Cort Furniture Outlet in Rockville MD and tell them to talk to Lisa she is very professional and fast in responding to your request.
