Mirchi — Restaurant in North Brunswick Township

Not recommend for buffet- waste of money Got a text message that buffet has 60+ items. After I reach the location (North Brunswick) there were less than 20 items. I asked the server that the message states 60 plus items, he stated "oh thats in Edison not here". I should have walked out at this time, but me and my wife were super hungry and we went a head with the buffet. My wife is vegetarian - and we only had 2-3 options for veg. After trying those it was super bad. Paneer butter masala was so sour as if its been kept for days. Food was cold. Every item you take you will be like oh this is not good let me take another one. None of the items were good, not even average. We called out for Naan multiple times and the server said he is getting in few. After 5 plus minutes he got 1 naan (cut into 4) and since other tables were also waiting for it by the time I got up from my seat it was gone and when I asked the server for naan he reacted in a way "oh is it finished already let me get some more". Same thing happened again and we couldn't help but had to leave. I explained the issue to the counter guy and he smiled and said "oh sorry no hindi". I told him in English and he was like " hmm ok". no apology no eagerness to help nothing. On top of it they charged me 49$ for 2 buffet which we didn't even eat. Waste of money and time. Lesson learned. Will never visit or recommend anyone Food is not good, service is bad. I wish there was a negative...

Poor quality, taste and overpriced buffet. Zero for ambience, presentation and cleanliness.

Request to the owner and chef - “if you are not passionate about what you do, please don’t and stop spoiling the brand name”.

Had been to Sankranti lunch buffet and experienced one of the worst buffets. Idlis were in light brown in color and was hard as rubber. Dishes were not refilled in time, non veg and vegetarian spatulas were mixed and the worst was Sweet Pongal. My wife and I were so excited to have sweet pongal but as soon as she tasted it she started coughing and then I made out that it had campfire/Karpooram in it. Not sure why chef had dumped one entire box in it, with an intention to kill people or cause harm, don’t know, but it was the worst experience.

Luckily the reception boys were sweet, acknowledged the mistake, gave us $5 discount on each and then allowed to take few Kajayas/desert.

Will never visit this...

I placed an order through uber eats. I already rated it on uber eats without trying everything. Wish I would have tried all the food before giving it 5 stars on uber eats. Raita I received with my biryani is spoiled. As soon as I open the container I smelled a horrible spoiled milk smell. When I called the restaurant to complain about it, the guy kept telling me that they replace it every 2 days so basically it can’t be spoiled. So I asked if he was calling me a liar. During my phone call, he kept talking to others which I did not appreciate so I hung up. I am not upset about the spoiled raita. It can happen but I am pissed at how they handled my complaint. I wasn’t looking for money back or for them to comp me food. All I was trying to do was bring to their attention to that they may have to check some of their raita. It may be spoiled like...
