Panera Bread — Restaurant in North Brunswick Township

I’ve been to other locations and have been greeted right away by the people behind the counter. When I walk up to register I get a “Hi welcome to Panera. What can I get you?” Today I went and the person behind the counter looks at us, huffs, then walks over to the counter and says, “what would you like?” In the most monotone and miserable way as possible. I shrug it off and place my order. After placing my order, I put in my phone number for my Panera rewards, I was reminded by the person I was with that I got a free bagel. So I had to ask the person behind the desk if that was true. She huffed and said yes. At this point I’m getting annoyed. She was so rude. So I ordered my bagel. Now here comes the best part. I went to pay and had 2 gift cards. I showed her the first one and went to swipe and it said declined. She then asks me if it was a gift card and I said yes. Then she proceeds to tell me “You need to tell me it’s a gift card.” I just did! So I swipe and had a balance. I went to use the second gift card and showed her it was a gift cards. Made it perfectly clear it was a gift card, but we had to go through the same thing. She didn’t know it was a gift card. Each transaction was accompanied with multiple huffs.... ridiculous. I was fed up at this point. After all this she stil hadn’t given my bear claw. I had to ask for it, and yes, she huffed as she went to get me my bear claw. Great experience at this Panera Bread...

This my second time going to this Panera Bread in North Brunswick. So far, my experiences have been unpleasant. The first time, I placed my order online for Rapid Pick-Up. I arrived at the store and it was not busy. I grabbed my package and went home. By the time I got home, I was missing my entire half of my You Pick Two along with my sides. When I called back the manager was very nice and refunded my order and I left it as that. However, the next day I placed an online order again and this time, they gave me the wrong order of Mac and Cheese. On top of that, my tuna sandwich was more bread than tuna. At this point I have given up and refuse to go here now. I understand things happen however, both times I went they were not busy. Also, Panera is not cheap so I would like to get my money's worth when I order something and not be ripped off. Now, I know how Panera functions given that when I was in college I worked at another Panera and I know that there are designated people to check if the order is complete. I also know there are trainings that explain how to make sandwiches and not scam people on their order. For the future, I would advise to be more cautious when checking orders and also when making the food. Other than that, I would recommend the Panera Bread on College...

A very well organized food chain

Especially this branch is always maintained very well. It has many options like we can dine indoor/outdoor at the store, rapid pickup (when we order online), drive-thru, order at counter in store, we can even order at kiosk station in store.

Drive-thru we tried only once and we are not super happy with the experience. So we only go with ordering online and Rapid picking of the order and we are very happy with it. While picking up, we have a screen that tells the status of the order like in preparation or ready. We can also check the status of our order in mobile app if we order through app.

Sandwich and soup like combos (pick two) are best.All the bakery items are delicious. Different options of coffees are good.Blueberry muffin is one of our favorites. Mac and cheese is the best. Bagels are fresh.

Tuesday bakers dozen offer for bagels is a pocket friendly option.

Their unlimited coffee subscription really helps if you are a coffee addict and spend more on coffee everyday.

Huge parking lot. They have tesla charging station in the parking lot. Staff are friendly Highly recommend this place
