During my recent visit at Best Burger I had the unpleasant experience of the owner becoming very upset at me for asking him to change his gloves after rolling out a bread stocking rack and stocking packages of bread. Upon entering the establishment I was greeted and he seemed pleasant but that changed very quickly once I explained bread racks are not sanitary and I would like him to change his gloves please. He processed to say “do I tell you how to do your job”. I politely explained I wasn’t trying to offend him however my children will be consuming the food and I would be very appreciative if he would change his gloves. He continued to say why and how he is friends with the health inspector and she doesn’t care. I explained that it’s unfortunate that she would allow him to touch and stock things while preparing food but it doesn’t change the fact I would like him to change his gloves. Once he finally changed them he proceeds to ask for permission to grab the spatula to flip the burger. Then he ask “how about the tongs” and how about this and that. I said sir I am being very polite with my request and soon I will ask for a refund. I explained I’m not being rude and that he was being very unprofessional. My son was with me and was afraid. The owner bagged the food and gave it to me and was so upset he forgot the drinks. I said could I please have my drinks. He gave them and asked where I worked. I said that’s none of your business and thanked him for my food and left. It’s really sad that this was my first visit in years and this was my interaction. I will never visit again and will be sure to share my experience with family, friends and on my lifestyle blog page. I hope the owner can develop better professionalism and improve his customer...
Read moreI feel compelled to leave a review after hearing about the unacceptable treatment my sister experienced at Best Burger. She simply asked the owner to change his gloves after handling bread racks before preparing her family’s food, a very reasonable and sanitary request. Instead of responding professionally, he became defensive and even argumentative, which left her and my young nephew uncomfortable.
Food service should always prioritize cleanliness and respect for customers, especially when children are involved. Hearing that the owner dismissed her concerns and even mentioned being “friends with the health inspector” instead of addressing the issue is deeply concerning. This is not the type of customer service or professionalism anyone should encounter when dining out.
As someone who cares about supporting local businesses, it’s extremely disappointing to know that such behavior took place. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend Best Burger, and I truly hope the owner takes this as an opportunity to improve professionalism, food safety practices, and customer communication...
Read moreOMG. I have been wanting a good burger for awhile and asked my son if he wanted to go try this place with me. He said, "Sure," so off we went. Walked in and the place is super clean, which, if we are honest, is hard to find now a days. Second thing is that their menu is very small, which was ok with me because I was there for a burger and shake. Third, the young man working the counter was friendly and happy to help-made our first experience there enjoyable. I ordered the mushroom burger with the works, small fry and a wild blackberry shake. My son had a double hamburger and vanilla shake. We waited about 7 or 8 minutes until our order was called. Got it to our table and it was hot and fresh. They cook the burgers fresh on their huge grill. So no reheated in the oven or microwave. The burger was hot, juicy and tasted amazing. My sons first words were, "this special sauce is really good." The fries were fresh and hot. Glad we ordered a small though, because we couldn't finish them all. The shakes were yummy as well. We will definitely be back there. Truly one of the best...
