Absolutely the BEST Chinese food out there. Order frequently from here and have never had a single bad order. The food is always yummy, made exactly to my specifications, ready quickly, and nice and hot. You get a very generous portion for a super fair price. I love the online ordering option that allows you to customize everything without having to call it in. The delivery feature is also helpful. The only time I experienced an issue was related to a third party company delivery driver who left my order at the wrong house. When the owners at this restaurant learned of it, they reached out to me with directions on how to get my order and delivery fee refunded! Food used to be super good and the best in town. I’ve been going here as long as I can remember. Definitely a decline in food and cleanliness of the restaurant. Food tasted bland now and chicken has been super inconsistent a lot of the time it tasted like it’s cooked in old oil. The place is overall dirty. Looks like mold on the baseboards and floor. Seems like a reoccurring issue because other reviews recently have been saying the same thing. I will still continue to go here because it’s my local Chinese spot but if a new place opened up the road I’m afraid I would no longer support lucky star. First of all, this place looks a little run down. However, don't let that fool you. While the building is not perfect, and can get a little cold, the food is made fresh. The service is very good and friendly. When I order takeout, it's always ready when they say it will be. And when you sit in the restaurant, they bring the food to you fresh. Plus, the prices are unbeatable! You can get a filling lunch for about $5 with a can of soda. The food is quality and I would recommend it to anyone who is hesitant to check it out.
