Absolute trash experience. We placed a mobile order on Sunday, April 27th at 9:39 pm. Got a notification that it would be ready at 9:44 pm. Showed up at 9:48 pm. Hit the red button. No response. A worker walks past our car around 9:52, and asks if weāve been helped yet. We tell her we have a mobile order, she says itāll be right out. At 10:09 pm (17 minutes later), nothing has been brought out to us. We hit the red button again, and a voice says theyāll be right with us. At 10:11 pm the voice comes across again and once again says theyāll be right with us. At 10:13 pm an employee walks up to our car and asks if weāve been helped, we proceed to tell him we have a mobile order and weāve been waiting for quite some time. At this point, the same voice comes over the speaker and YELLS, āyeah! Mobile order for Aaron! I already told you weād have it out!ā To which the employee who is next to our car tells us that he didnāt even know there was somebody there for a mobile order. Of course. Finally, at 10:17 pm (29 minutes after we arrived) our food was brought to us. We checked our food, we were missing food, half of it was cold, and our drinks had no ice. We hit the button again to notify them that we were missing part of our order. No response. We decide to pull up to the drive thru. Sat in the drive thru until 10:25. Line never moved. Drove back to the stall. Finally at 10:28 we got to speak to a manager and got a replacement for the food missing. And were told we had to get a refund through a third party system. Waited 45 minutes for cold food, no refund, and rude employees. Donāt care if your employees are new, this was a serious lack of leadership. Our first time at this Sonic...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis place is truly a disgrace! From little leauge season 2023 to little league season 2024, I don't know what happened, but its a shame. Waited 25 minutes for service at the walk up order screen in front after hitting the service button ,with my son for a treat after a game well played. I had to walk over to the drive thru window and ask if they were taking orders outside or not. Then the speaker didn't even work, then we saw multiple drive thru cars get their order before us even though ours was in before them (easily saw 4 cars before the order screen get there stuff before us even though we orders when they were still in line to order). There is always at least 5 cars backed up in line, and they one day, they would take the order at the order screen, then not take the next order until the previous one was done at the pay window, who does that? No wonder there is a line. I also see people at the drive in order screens, eventually leave and get on the drive thru line. I thought Sonic was "Americas drive in", not this one. Most recently, my order was messed up fries instead of tots, 2 supersonic burritos instead of 2 ultimate meat and cheese burittos, and their signature cherry limeade tasted like pure carbinated water. At home, the ult meat and cheese had no cheese and was saturated in dark brown grease going through even the foil wrapper. Get you act together. Do you understand how many more customers and money your business could be making if it performed like most other fast food joints? And that's not asking much as most FF places these days aren't stellar. Close it down or clear out the management. Sonic should be ashamed of this location. Eveyone go to the Jackson...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI hate being this personāI really do. But I just need to understand: why is the service always so incredibly slow at this location?
Is it a staffing issue? Is there a lack of training? I live right across the street, so it should be super convenient for me to swing by after my kids' games or on a busy night. But after multiple disappointing experiences, I now actively avoid this Sonic.
When my kids beg for it, I literally drive to the Sonic in Jackson insteadābecause I know I can get there, place my order, and make it all the way back home before I even get acknowledged in the drive-thru here. Thatās not an exaggeration.
One time, my 10-year-old and I were out on a bike ride. We stopped to order from one of the patio stalls, pressed the button, and someone responded, āWeāll be with you in a minute.ā Then⦠nothing. For 30 minutes. When they finally came back, we ordered, waited another 30+ minutes, and the food was cold. The same thing has happened when Iāve tried to order from my car. You press the button, they ask you to hold, then donāt return for 15ā20 minutes, and when the food finally arrivesāagain, cold.
Just now, I went through the drive-thru. They asked me to wait a minute. I sat there for thirty minutes. When I finally asked if I could place my order, they said, āOh yeah, go ahead.ā
What is going on?
Iām not trying to get anyone in trouble. Iām just genuinely baffled. If someone in management or leadership sees this, pleaseāwhatever the issue is, help your team. This is clearly not a one-off problem. And itās a shame, because the location should be a go-to for families...
