This is one of the best sports bar restaurants that I've been to my son I come every Monday and Tuesday for their wings my favorite sauce is the Bourbon Barrel his is the garlic and the staff is so friendly they make you feel like you're part of the family they go out of their way for you they're very knowledgeable about every item in beer and liquor it's a fun environment save comfortable warming and welcoming I've been coming to Winking Lizard for years and I will continue to come my family also comes very regularly and they have a great team and you will always be happy satisfied and have a full belly good job Winking Lizard team you're awesome you're amazing they all have different characters and interest and it's always intriguing each and every visit that we come every week I normally go to the one on Washington Square but they all are fantastic this is where my roots are at! And one thing I do have to point out is that I think it's amazing that they've have brought out the social side of my son he's very quiet and shy but each and every visit that we come every week he opens up to them they make him feel welcome and comfortable that he cannot find at any other restaurant or fast food place and that to me is amazing in it's awesome how you feel like you're part of the team and they're always striving to do best for the community and...

"The Lizard" is one of our usual spots - only partially because they are open later than most restaurants around here! Even with their current limited menu there is a good selection, and they are very willing to make adjustments to orders. For example, you can get a black bean patty for any of their burgers OR chicken sandwiches for no extra charge! That's a plus from me, who is mostly vegetarian; it is hard to find vegetarian food that isn't mac'n'cheese or cheese flatbread at most bar-type restaurants. And of course if you like trying different beers, there is nowhere better. Like whiskeys? You'll be here a while before you get to sample all they have on hand. That includes a dozen or so scotches and a handful of ryes, as well as a selection of other whiskey types to expand your knowledge. Whether you are seated outside on the patio, at the enclosed outer bar, inside bar or inside table, you will be taken of by the...

If I could give a zero I would give this place a ZERO!! Went for lunch today. We waited for an hour and still did not get our food. We had a limited time for lunch as it was. So we asked our waitress to just box our food. Our food came out not boxed. Manager John Hoffman was very rude when I expressed my displeasure that our food wasnt boxed. He jumped over me saying that when 15 people walk in the same time someone would have to wait. People around us got there food before us. No apologies or nothing for the wait just an attitude. I felt he was very rude and disrespectful!! Sure there was a lot of us that came at once, but the restaurant was not crowded and if that is the way he greets his customer then I will not be back. All he had to do was apologize for the delay not lash out and blame us for patronizing his...

Stopped by Winking Lizard during March Madness, and as expected, the place was packed. We grabbed seats at the bar, and despite the crowd, the service was outstanding—attentive, quick, and friendly. I’ve eaten here a few times, and while the food is hit or miss, the atmosphere and service always make up for it. This time, I had the buffalo chicken sandwich, which I wouldn’t recommend. The chicken was a bit overcooked, and the bun was just a basic hamburger bun—not great. However, the French fries were fantastic—crispy, golden, and well-seasoned. My date went with a pizza, and it was excellent, definitely a better choice. Overall, Winking Lizard is a great spot for drinks, sports, and atmosphere, but the food can be inconsistent. If you go, stick with the pizza and fries, and you’ll have a solid meal.

We ordered here and had ok service till our food got there. Absolutely horrible service, And our chicken sandwich was raw. The manager tried forcing me to take our pizza home after we said it was gross as well. ( it was all mushy and watered down once again not cooked.) Said “if u don’t take it home I’ll watch you all the way to your car.” Totally made us feel uncomfortable and we will never go back! Paid $40+ for nasty food we didn’t eat… She also asked “will you come back to the winking lizard?” No we will not. I can’t believe we had this type of service spending this kind of money.

I agree with one of the reviewers, it is a bit small inside. I actually ate on the patio, which was nice. Monday is 65 cent for traditional wings. They do have daily good specials! Which is a great deal! I ordered the Cajun wings, they did have a bite to them, but I do like spicy/hot stuff. Also had artichoke dip with chips. The dip was good, the wings were good and the server was very attentive and friendly. I really have nothing bad to say, I ate there many months ago inside, and it is quite small, but the service and food were good.
