I was concerned we might have a big wait as we were going on a Friday night at 7:15. To my surprise the only people waiting were customers/dashers waiting on to-go orders. Can’t speak as to how long they waited but most of them looked very bored and annoyed. The atmosphere is good, old photographs on the walls, and cute, quaint checkered table cloths. The restaurant appeared to be plenty clean and I had no issue sitting down for our meal. The service was adequate but not winning any awards here. First I’m a stickler for keeping a glass full, but sadly mine was not, and to make matters worse several requests for a refill (of water) were forgotten. Looking around I noticed it did not look like any of the servers were more than early twenties, which don’t get me wrong good service is good service no matter the age of the server, but there was definitely a lack of attention to details. My wife and I both ordered a drink, I had a beer and she had a wine. When the bill came I’m glad I looked it over as my wife had been charged for a bottle of wine and not just a glass. This was fixed quickly and without issue but it was still concerning. For dinner I ordered spaghetti and meatballs in meat sauce, and my wife tried to order the baked fish but it was sold-out so she settled upon the fettuccini Alfredo and added chicken. At this point our server turned to my wife and said just so you know our Alfredo is very different from other places and it tends to be more “cheesy” than many places and some people don’t end up liking it. It was right here we should have heeded the warning and picked something else but we both LOVE cheese and so it shouldn’t be a problem. We both got salads as were included with our meals but my wife decided to add cheese to her salad. It was a $2 option so we expected that, like some other local restaurants, the salad would be basically half cheese and half salad, which my wife loves. When the salads made it to the table, there was no cheese on either salad. My wife notified the server of the issue and she said she would bring the cheese out separately. She returned with just a small plastic ramekin of cheese, fortunately we were not charged the $2 for it but it was still rather disappointing. When our main courses came the portions were large and mine looked great! Upon looking at my wife’s fettuccini Alfredo however, I grew concerned. Her dish was quite large as well but the server was right the Alfredo did not look like any I had had before. So we dug into our dishes and the theme of the night continued as we were very under-whelmed with our offerings. My spaghetti was cooked correctly but the sauce lacked much flavor, the meatballs were large and were cooked well but again lacked any flavor and were just forgettable. My wife however got the worse end of the deal, her dish was bad. The Alfredo was more like a thick white gravy clearly thickened with a lot of flour instead of with cheese. That was probably the most misleading part of the warning by the server, the dish wasn’t “cheesy” at all it was blah and a very off-putting texture. Upon looking to switch to eating just the chicken she immediately gave up on that as well. It looked like they had just thrown on some frozen chicken from a Tyson bag. Unappealing and lots of pieces with fat. The one item that was worth it was our add-on order of cheesy bread, although I will say it would be very easy to replicate at home for very cheap. Overall it just seemed like I was back in high school at my schools student-run restaurant and I know we will not be going back. The restaurant had so much potential and my wife and I both were very excited to try it. It is rare that we get out for a date night anymore so it was a real disappointment that the food was so bad. We had gained interest from a recent TikTok video and it appears now that that video may have just been a bought advertisement by the restaurant. Probably the most damming sentiment from the night for both my wife and I was that we would have preferred just going to...
Read moreMy family typically enjoys this restaurant, but last night was an extremely poor experience. My wife and our two kids decided to go in and eat dinner after a long day. My wife and son both are vegetarian. My wife ordered stuffed shells with marinara sauce and my son got cheese ravioli with marinara, both with no meat. Our food arrived a little later than I would have expected, but nothing that I was ready to complain to the server about. We received the food and quickly noticed that my wife's had meat sauce on it. We grabbed the waiter and sent it back for return. Then as we began to cut my son's food, we noticed his ALSO had meat on it in the sauce. Within several minutes the server was returning my wife's meal, and we alerted him that my son's was also incorrect. This is where it gets a little more frustrating. We looked down at my wife's plate, which he had just returned to us, and AGAIN it had meat sauce on it. We told the waiter immediately, who took both of the plates, apologized profusely, and told us it would be resolved. He came back several minutes later to tell us it was all being remade and would not have meat sauce. After about 10 minutes of waiting, my daughter, who is 1, had reached her limit for sitting in the booth, so I finished my food that had come previously, and I took her out to our van to drive around for a few minutes while my wife and son waited for and ate their food. I left, and jokingly said to my wife, "I hope when they bring it back out it doesn't have meat on it again." Well...guess what? I had left in our van for no more than 3 minutes when my wife calls and tells me that when the server brought her food out for the third time, and my son's food for the second time, they BOTH had meat on them again in the sauce. At this point she abruptly told the server she was going to leave. She paid for my sandwich which I had previously eaten, and then left. I don't know where the disconnect was, or what issue the cook was experiencing that night, or if it was a new cook, or if they just didn't care - I cannot say, but regardless, our business has been lost for the foreseeable future. We have had incidents in the past with take-out food from here where we end up with stray ground beef in our sauce when it is for a vegetarian, but it has never incensed me enough to write a review. This one has done it though and I cannot recommend anyone with vegetarian/vegan/allergy issues that must avoid meat...

From now on I will read reviews. I ordered for take-out. A surprise for my depressed daughter. To be fair I knew I would have to wait. But an hour!!! C'mon. Oh well. I took that. They weren't busy for being 7:PM. I ordered 2 Pasta Primavera dinners with added grilled chicken. With doubled dressing on both salads. I also ordered 2 sides of meat sauce. And a large antipasta with double dressing. What I got was all the fixings for the antipasta. But NO vegetables. Not even lettuce. NO Sautéed vegetables that comes mixed into the dinner. NO dressings. No grilled chicken on either dinner.. NO vegetables in the side salad or dressing. NO meatsauce. AND portions were small on everything. Considering the price of $43. We havn't eaten any of it. So there's no review on taste. I called this morning. Talked to same person as the night before. Boy was it hard to hold my tongue. Because all she did was lie. Tried to tell me that's not what I ordered. I know what I ordered. I specifically said make sure the vegetables were Sautéed soft. Not crunchy. But all she could do was comp me for the chicken. She had the nerve to say WELL YOU ATE IT ANYWAYS. DIDN'T YOU." Oh LORD. Thank you for not providing me with 50 minutes of driving there from my home. I replied "WE DID NOT EAT IT. AND YOU KNOW WHAT YOU CAN DO WITH YOUR COMP. BECAUSE I WILL WRITE A REVIEW. AND I WILL TELL OTHERS. I HOPE THE $43 WAS WORTH IT TO YOU. She still kept being disrespectful with her words and tone. I hung up. I BELIEVE GOD TOLD ME TO HANG UP. WOW. I feel good trying to tell...
