Dairi-O of Thomasville — Restaurant in North Carolina

I stopped while traveling to try this place that looks like Chic-Fil-A and a larger version of Dairy Queen. Upon entrance the restaurant is immaculately clean and the small restroom is clean as well. The staff and managers are very courteous, accommodating, and helpful. I planned to order chicken tenders to add to a salad I brought from home, but I was distracted by the many options and a desire to try the grilled chicken on pita with tzatziki. Although the chunks of chicken on the pita were small, some of the pieces were flavorful and tender while others were somewhat dry and bland. I recommend adding lettuce to the chicken pita, because the salad I brought from home made it better. I also had the opportunity to sample the food of others traveling with me. The vegetarian bean burger was flavorful, but the texture was too soft to imitate a burger. The cod fish was also flavorful, but it had more fried skin than flesh. The fries were thick, hot and not to salty. One of the travelers from my group says the burger with chili and the large scoops of coconut and banana pudding ice cream are good and tasty. As far as the drinks, there are a lot of fountain options and tea. My tea was McDonald's sweet. I had to add unsweetened tea to balance the sweetness. Due to the service, the cleanliness of the establishment, the food options, and reasonable prices, I recommend trying trying this place. I was here a month ago and this still makes me mad thinking about it. I don't have one near where I live and happened to be in the area. I ordered a double burger meal for myself and a kids meal and it came to almost 22 dollars!!! I told the person I ordered from only cheese mayo and tomato on the burger. I get home to pleasant garden and there is no cheese. I call back to say something and Edgar the MOD had a horrible attitude. First said it wasn't his location they didn't have an order like that the whole day. Then I guess he found the order and said oh well you didn't say you wanted cheese that would have been extra. I said I clearly did and it was me and your employee face to face so you didn't hear it. He then said oh well you coming back tonight? I said no I live 2 far away. He said oh well you aren't going to take 3 weeks to come back are you because I just argued with a lady today about taking to long to come back. I said I wouldn't but 2 days later I was sick with covid and since he didn't even believe me about getting the order wrong I didn't want to argue with him when I was better about getting a replacement burger plus I was worried he might do something to my food since his attitude was so bad. Update: I have said some negative things about their food items but I recently tried their jumbo dog. The Angus beef dog is an absolute winner! It's pricey but it is fantastic. The toasted bun is just amazing and 5he slaw and chili are on point. I'm not a hot dog guy usually but I would get this every time.

I like Dario's. Been to a couple in past. Nice, clean fast casual fast food. Interiors of restaurant are a step up from most fast food joints. Great drive thru workers and a great system with workers outside processing each car with tablets and putting a number card on the windshield. It was crowded but they moved us along. My Monster burger was average. Good bun. Nice leafy lettuce but the burger patty was way overcooked and pretty much tasteless. My dining partner got a hot dog and couldn't eat but a couple bites so she gave it to me. I am not a huge hot dog guy but this is a FANTASTIC hot dog (great TOASTED potato bun, fantastic chili, good slaw). One of the better fast food hot dogs I've had.
