I can’t rate the food because we never received it. I will start by saying we frequent this restaurant regularly. We arrived around 6:45pm. A high top at the bar was cleaned off 10 minutes later. They were, and usually are short-staffed. The bartender (also the Mgr) noticed us, but waited another 20 minutes to come take our order. By this time, it’s 7:15. My husband placed his order and we both got drinks. Our drinks came another 10 minutes after that. Around this time a couple was seated beside us. Another server immediately came over to them and took their order ( after she’d walked past us AT LEAST 5 times). Then the bartender/Mgr came over and asked my husband what wing flavors he’d ordered again…So his order was most likely never entered. Around 7:45 the table beside us got their food! Another table that was seated 20-30 minutes after us got their food! We all ordered wings. My husband is upset at this point since we have been there almost an hour with no food. When he asked to speak to the Manager, the guy took his time, served yet another table their food, then came over to us. He said to us “before you go getting upset, you didn’t let anyone know you were sitting here”. This was after he had served us a drink and forgotten to place the food order. I have not experienced such poor service in quite a while. My husband told him he didn’t want the food and we were leaving. The “Manager” has yet to apologize at all. He waved us off and said “whatever”. We walked out. At this point, the Mgr comes to the patio and says we didn’t pay for our drinks (spicy margarita and Corona). My husband told him we weren’t paying we should have gotten them on the house for the inconvenience. He also told him we’d been waiting almost an hour while others who arrived after us were being served. He NEVER apologized or took any accountability for his poor service. He basically dismissed us! We will not be returning and it’s a shame that our neighborhood bar is no more for us. I wholeheartedly understand restaurants being short-staffed; I will never pay for piss poor...
Read moreFirst visit to this location. Might very well be the last. And I’m a “second chances” kind of guy. The place smells like the nail salon next door, I’m not counting this in my review, because really it’s not the restaurant’s fault; just giving a fair warning to anyone that is sensitive to those types of smells. Group of 5, numerous tables available. We were one of maybe three groups of people in the whole restaurant. Instead of seating us a table with six chairs (or room for six with a booth,) they sat us at a four-person table and pulled up a chair... a chair that was now partially in the way of the walkway to the bathrooms. And it wasn’t like they were trying to space out the tables, we were sat next to one of the two other groups. I’m really hoping our waitress was new. She skipped an entire human while we placed our orders. It happens; probably happened because she kept having to duck out of the way of people heading to/from the restrooms. She was writing down our orders which we were all very clear on, even discussed some of them with the waitress. I’m not exaggerating when I say that only two orders came out right. One was fried instead of grilled; not a huge deal so we didn’t mention it. One was chicken instead of shrimp; let it slide. But then one was a full on wrap meal when all that was ordered was a lettuce wrap. That one got sent back, and it came back as a lettuce wrap but with things on it that were asked to be left off. At that point it wasn’t worth sending back again. I could see these errors happening if they were busy or if she hadn’t written the orders down. But how does that even happen? So, bad things happen. Coincidence that three different oversights happen on the same order when they weren’t busy? Possible. But that plus skipping someone and seating us in an unnecessarily tight space when plenty of other tables were available? Come on.
Also, please get an air freshener...
Read moreOur family has been east coast fans since it came to the area from Winston Salem over 12 years ago. With that being said it is understandable that we are in a time of great shortages. What is not understandable is that at some point management must process leadership capabilities and conduct a through assessment of its stores ability to meet the standard it has promised. Last night we had dinner there last night. Upon being shown to our table there was a a considerable wait in time before the server took our drink order (very short staffed). We also put in an appetizer and around 15 minutes later the app came out and she took our order. Another 45 minutes go by and final our food comes out (about every 15 minutes or so someone actually comes over and checks up on you. My other ordered the dry rub ranch along with my brother in law. When the food came to the table they had a wet sauce. They both said this is not what we ordered and the server said oh we are out of what you did order so the kitchen just went ahead and made this instead. My question is why didn’t the server return sometime within that 45 minute window and say that what we ordered wasn’t available would you like This instead or something else? But no it was the old Soviet style of this what you get and you will like it. Another 45 minutes went by and no one came back to refill anything even though multiple refills were requested. I finally went to the bar to pay. Asked if I could cash out, didn’t even get to see the receipt to see if mom’s wings had been taken off (we were there for about 2.5 hoursish. Just a horrible performance from the top down. If you have to close a couple days of week to properly staff in order to meet the standard then you should. Otherwise you are heading for permeant closure for failing to deliver the product and experience you have been capable of...
