We had 4 people in our family ask if the food we were ordering had peppers in them due to I have an allergy to peppers, all pepper, bell, hot... Appetizer came out, crab dip with pita chips, had paprika sprinkled all over them, paprika is ground up red peppers. Then we ordered a pizza and again asked the waitress and asked her to confirm that none of the pizza has peppers in it, any in the sauce or anywhere else, again saying "I HAVE AN ALLERGY TO ALL PEPPERS, BELL PEPPERS, HOT PEPPERS, ALL PEPPERS". She asked the kitchen staff and we heard them say no, started eating the pizza and realized they had bell peppers in the sausage. I spent the entire evening in excruciating pain. We only eat at places where everything is made to order so I can avoid having an allergic reaction. We ordered 3 pizzas and only 2 showed up. It took over a half hour for the waitress to come back to check on us, another half hour for the pizza. By that time, I was in excruciating pain, we asked for the other pizza to go, it took another half hour for the check. I was in tears leaning on the table. I have never ever considered dining and ditching because I was a waitress when I was younger but I was seriously close to just walking out of that restaurant. We went there thinking it would be a quick bite just ordering pizza, we were there for over 3 hours and only got refills on drinks once. The elevator was the scariest ride I've ever been on in my life. I'm disabled so I can't take the stairs, but I took the stairs going back down. The baby changing table was on the 3rd floor, not on the 2nd where the restaurant is. Other than those things, the food tasted decent once we finally got it. The view was great. The place looked clean. But please, if someone says they have an allergy check the ingredients, I'm lucky my allergy doesn't cause anaphylaxis, just excruciating pain in my stomach and intestines for a day, even the...

We had dinner here tonight and it was superb! We highly recommend! Pizza was large enough that my 14-year-old son could not finish it on his own (which is saying something!). BLT was amazing. My daughter and I ordered the Caprese salad with grilled chicken on the side. Just FYI: the Caprese salad doesn't come with fresh basil nor any kind of lettuce; it was large (and incredibly yummy!) slices of tomato nestled among generous slices of fresh, flavorful mozzarella resting on a bed of finely chopped tomatoes. We ordered the balsamic vinegar on the side. It was excellent! Chicken was cooked well, moist and chunked small enough to turn what was an appetizer into a meal for us (we each ordered our own). Also the chips are not home-cooked...they seemed more of the out-of-the-bag variety.
The atmosphere was exceptional. Interior is vibrant and lively, yet low-key and incredibly well-done. The outside area is perfect for watching the boats come and go in the channel and surveying the larger sound. Folks were dressed in the usual refined fashion so familiar on the waterfront, yet there were also some more relaxed parties as well. We had shorts and T-shirts on and didn't feel out of place; but arriving for a nice evening out sans kids in dressy attire would have been just as appropriate. Music was not loud (which we totally appreciated); we were able to chat with our table and not be drowned out by overbearing excess noise. We had a party of 9 and they were easily able to accommodate. We did call ahead and only waited about five minutes for a table when we got there 15 minutes later. These folks had their act together. Wonderful service, phenomenal food, stellar atmosphere, beautiful views....
Read moreMy family and I attempted to eat brunch here on a Sunday. We had a larger group and expected to wait (group of 8). We were seated immediately, no wait time and there were lots of open tables. We placed our drink and food orders within the first 15 mins. The Resturant started getting busy within 30 mins. Around 1 hour in, our waitress came to let us know they ran out of French toast and to order something else. We asked how much longer for the food, we had 3 hungry kids and had been sitting for a while. She told us that brunch was always really busy but our order was on the screen so it shouldnât be much longer and that she would bring goldfish or another snack for the kids while we wait. We had witnessed a few tables come in after us, eat, and leave before we ever got our food. The waitress checked on us a total of 3 times. At the 1hr 30 min mark (And no âgoldfish or snacksâ for the kids) we decided to leave. We should have left sooner honestly, we just felt that us being a larger group it would be hard to find accommodations. We did notice a few other smaller groups who seemed to be waiting, growing impatient and questioning staff. The waitress made a comment about the owners being there making the food at the wood grill. Given the fact we were sitting directly beside the grill, the owners should have seen that we had been there too long without any food or any update. On top of the poor service, we still paid for our drinks and I felt that was unnecessary. We waited for food for 1.5 hrs and should have been given the drinks at the very least. We felt like we were placed out of the way and forgotten about. Awful experience! Needs to be...
