Kernol's Donuts — Restaurant in North Carolina

I've been here twice. The first time was to try the doughnuts. While there I saw and purchased an apple fritter. The second time I went only for the fritters. The fritters is the reason for my 5 star rating! They are divine!!! The doughnuts are fresh and look delicious, but for me, they're just too sweet. I love sweets, but I like flavor profiles. I can't taste the other flavors like chocolate or the different creams because they're just so sugary sweet. But they do know how to make the best fritters I've ever eaten so far. Crisp but soft, full of fruit and not greasy!!! And both times I've been they have been really super nice!!! Also this visit they had apple, cherry and blueberry fritters. I haven't yet eaten the cherry or blueberry fritters I purchased, but I'm expecting them to be as divine as the apple....

A really great experience. I got the large coconut boba tea and a donut with white frosting and Fruity Pebbles on top. The boba tea was immaculately sweet and delicious. The donut was amazing and not as sweet as a Dunkins or Crispy Creme donut but I mean that in a good way. The lady that served me at the counter was polite and efficent. She low key gave me a free bag of donut holes too with my purchase. I guess why not when I came in 20 minutes before closing time. The only negative I have for this place is the limited flavor menu for the boba tea. Would have loved to have had lychee flavor. Highly recommended if you're looking for good boba...

I am grateful that they are on the other side of town because if they were any closer I would be there daily & my Dr would not like that!! The selection is wonderful (you even have options for different fillings for certain donuts). Their fritters (apple, blueberry & cherry) are the best I have ever had! They even have an apple pie donut.... OMGoodness it is so good!! Reasonably priced and better than any other donut I have had in a very long time (and that includes Duck Donuts, Dunkin & Krispy Kreme) !! Worth the 20 minute drive from my office to get everyone a treat!! We will definitely be...
