TL;DR: The evening/night shift here sucks. Came by an hour before closing, had to change my order three different times because they kept saying they couldn't fulfill the items I tried to order (they closed the grill and milkshake machines down an hour before the store closes).
I came by at 11pm, an hour before close. I go to place my order, they tell me they can't fulfill one of the items (a sausage egg and cheese McGriddle) because they're about to close at 12. Alright, that's a breakfast item, I get it.
So I change my order up to include a milkshake for my passenger. They tell me they can't do that item because they're closing in an hour. Seriously?
Frustrated, I change my order up again, I figured I'd just get a burger. I get to the window to give the kid my card, he walks off, comes back a minute later telling me they can only do part of my order (the fries) because they've already shut down and cleaned the grill for the night.
To put this in perspective, a fast-food restaurant known for selling burgers (among other things), couldn't sell a burger because they shut the grill down an HOUR BEFORE THEY CLOSED.
This place has been known for its terrible, lazy staff, but this takes the cake. I told the kid to forget about it, drove to the McDonalds on Page Road and got my food there.
Mentioned my experience to the manager there, he told me they're not supposed to shut down the grill early, but at 11PM, they had basically closed up shop an hour early.
This location needs major reform, and in the future, I'd just drive to Brier Creek or Page Road because it's worth the extra 5-10 minutes to avoid the sorry service you'd...

The manager (an assumption bc she’s been working there for quite a while) at this location is my reasoning behind only leaving 1 star. A few weeks ago I ordered through the app. When I reached the drive through window the young lady assisting the manager handed her my food. When I received it, it was wrong. After reviewing my receipt she hands it to the manager who seem to be annoyed at the fact that I informed her of my wrong order. She attempts to fix it, putting items in the bag and hands it to me. I drove off with confidence in feeling like my order was right only to get home and realize it was yet again wrong. Today I ordered again through the app and went through the drive through. I ordered three separate meals. All of which were shoved into one bag by the manager. The manager scoots the bag across the counter to the young lady working the window. The young lady hands me the bag and it is so full as she is handing it to me the bag rips. Thankfully I was able to catch the food before it hit the ground. The manager who watched the entire situation did nothing. The young lady says something to her and she apparently annoyed grabs ONE smaller bag than the first bag and gives it to the young lady. If I have a big bag that was not able to accommodate the number of items I had in the bag what makes you think handing me a smaller bag will be any better. My daughter and count on McDonald's to buy a Happy Meal of 6 chicken nuggets, extra fries, Sweet Tea 1/2 cut. 2 orders of Cinnamon Melts and a small Coffee for myself. I have a granddaughter who is Autistic, Deaf and Sensory issues. She loves McDonald's. She gets erratically happy when we get to the stop light before the Mcdonalds. She knows we are headed there. We have been to this particular store at least 4 times a day everyday since the 3rd of August. and everytime. the drive thru is backed up , so I wait as my daughter to go inside to order. My granddaughter and I have waited about 30 min. each time. On Tuesday we were there at 5:30 Drive thru was backed up so I went inside and ordered. The employees were complaing about being on shift 9,10 even 12 hours . They were tired and frustrated and needed to pick up their children at daycare. I asked if they had talked to the manager. They said she was not answering their calls. The night shift employees come in when they want and are rude to the customers the girl at the front counter said. I finally got my order 25 min. 's later. As soon as I walked out she locked the doors. They were still backed up at the drive thru.
