It never fails that every time I visit this McDonald's, which is normally morning time that something, if not the complete order is wrong. But that's not even the worse part, when you go and try to get it correct (quote me when I say this): THE MANAGER...Yes MANAGER gets all mad and catches a attitude about it, then proceeds to say things way out of the way. One occasion being.. they had gave my dad a very luke warm cheeseburger, I went inside after going through the drive-thru to let them know about it and get it replaced and she said to me; "I don't know why he even keeps coming here if all he is going to do is complain." Well if you pay for something you expect it to atleast be right and hot. I understand people make mistakes, but this is a everyday thing when he orders the same thing 98% of the time why can it not be right atleast one day out of the week? But NO this is everyday it's wrong!! Another incident my dad's order is normally just 2 senior coffee's with 2 cream's and 6 sugar, and as I said, this is a every morning order. They know him the moment he starts ordering it. But my dad had paid and pulled up to get the coffee and when he went to taste it, which he has to do now before pulling off it was almost cold. He then let this same manager know the problem and yet again she caught a attitude and said I dont know what your problem is that coffee is not cold and grabbed the coffee pot sticking it out the drive-thru window telling my dad to touch the pot. Are you being serious right now? That was beyond unprofessional!! All she had to do if it was that big of a deal in replacing the coffee or not believing my father, she could have poured her some in a small cup and stuck her finger in it or tried it... But NO she wanted to sling the pot out the window acting ridiculous about it. This store is in desperate need of new management. The main owner has even been contacted about the unprofessional situation and still nothing has been addressed about it. The only reason he goes to this McDonalds is because the others are way futher out of his way and he shouldn't have to when all they have to do is make sure orders are correct. This isn't the only bad review you will come across if you look them up on google they have a whole site where people have wrote reviews and not a single one had nothing nice to say. So if that don't tell you there are major issue's going on with this location, I don't know what does. It's honestly a sad situation that management is running that store into the ground because of the rudeness they dish out to their customers which are the ones that keep that store going and paychecks in the rude manager's pocket!! AVOID THIS McDONALD'S AT ALL COST IT'S NOT WORTH WASTING YOUR MONEY...
Read moreI am not going to this McDonald's anymore because of how stingy they have become with just about everything! One of my favorite things to buy is the caramel frappe. I even PAY EXTRA for them to add extra caramel drizzle to make it close to the amount it shows in the photos on the menu, (how they USED to give you without asking for extra) but the last few months of getting them from this location in particular, I pay for the extra, and still only get a little streak of it on top of the whipped cream! I went to the Clemons store and asked for it the same way I ask at this one, and they added almost more than I could handle! It was delicious! This store ALWAYS either totally forgets to give you napkins or gives a single on or two even when you place an order for 5 people, and almost always messes up the order or you get home and realize they didn't give you all of the items you paid for. I do like the convenient location, which is right down the road from me and close to 40, but since my last visit, I will be going to the Clemmons McDonald's from now on when I get my caramel frappe craving or decide to treat my kids to fast food. Read moreI stopped there February 24 2022 to pick up some food for my family. The drive thru was packed so I went inside to order. I waited for 5 minutes to place my order. I was patient. I saw they were busy. I understand being short handed. Finally someone looked up and told someone they had a customer. She came up and with an attitude asked me what I wanted. I was calm. But her attitude towards me was wrong. I told her I didn’t need anything and she should change her attitude. I was calm and didn’t yell like I wanted to. But that wouldn’t accomplish anything. I did tell her to change her attitude. I won’t be back or recommend it to anyone.
Update 08/31/2023 I recently wanted a Hazelnut coffee, and I was near McDonald's in Hillsdale at the corner of 158 and 801. I decided to try their food again. Furthermore, I was very impressed by the professionalism of the entire staff. I had to wait on my fries with no salt, so the manager, Linda, brought them out to me. I told her I had not been here in a few years and gave her my reason why. She was very friendly and impressed me and my wife with her great attitude. She is definitely an asset to Micky D's.
