You may never find yourself needing to be in Whiteville, NC but, if you ever do, Ray's Grill will be the highlight of your visit. The prices are so low, you may begin to question if you're really getting a deal. I assure you that whatever you order, you are in for an absolutely delicious, satisfying, quality meal delivered to you superfast. There was a line practically out the door on a Saturday and they were pumping out accurate orders in record time. Comfortable environment, rapid service, wonderful food. Ray's Grill IS Whiteville. I would go back just to eat there again. They need a tip jar, though. We could not figure out how to leave tips for the awesome folks who work there. I love this place! It's one of those go-to spots for locals in Whiteville. They have the best burgers, hot dogs, fries, chicken sandwiches, etc. The owner, Ray, is very hands-on and always making sure all orders are correct and freshly made. He wants his customers satisfied. He is very friendly and hard working. The prices are very cheap, but that doesn't mean you're getting cheap food...if that makes sense. I travel for work so I get to experience a lot of what towns have to offer for food. A local told us to give this place a try. It's in a run down shopping center in the corner. But the place was obviously packed. I was skeptical. But upon getting there food. It's the only place I'm eating when I'm in town. Wicked wicked fast service. Insanely great burgers and dogs.
