I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1 because I have had a decent experience in the past, however the last 3 times has been bad. For this review I'll focus on today. The server got triple sat and it took a while for us to even be greeted. The host did get our drinks so I can be understanding as I get it when a place is short staffed. When we ordered I specifically asked if they still had the smash burger and salad bar for 10.99 the server said they did. I then asked if I ordered an entree could I eat the salad bar from the burger meal as my son does not like salad. She said that was fine. My son ordered a double smash burger with salad, my daughter had the pick 3 app and included some sliders with salad and I had chicken broccoli pasta. When the food came out all the burgers were basically burnt and my pasta was dry as a bone. The kids were starving and couldn't wait for a recook so they just ate it. I asked for more parm cream sauce and the server brought out the smallest ramekin of sauce! I poured it on and ate a few bites. The chicken was salty and it was just to dry to eat. Prior to that my trip to the salad bar was ok, but my favs are the broccoli salad and the pasta salad, and they too were very dry which was so disappointing. I had a coke and it never got refilled, not even once. Is was 3/4 gone and when I realized she wasn't going to refill it i started taking baby sips so it would last me the whole meal. Then the check comes and she clearly charged me for my salad bar. I asked about it and she said it was against policy to eat someone else's salad, so why did she say it was ok?? I then asked for a togo box so my son could take his salad to go since it came with his meal and he didn't get it, I was told that too was against policy! I am writing to formally express my disappointment with the experience I had at your Garner, NC location on August 19th. As a long-time customer who has always enjoyed your food and service, I was frustrated by the lack of accommodation and professionalism I encountered.
At approximately 9:30 PM, I called to place a to-go order. The employee who answered informed me that after 9:00 PM, phone orders were not accepted. When I explained that I live 20 minutes away and would be arriving before closing, she responded dismissively, citing past instances where customers failed to pick up their orders. She then suggested I place the order online instead. However, I explained that I planned to pay with cash, which is not an option for online orders the very reason I was calling.
I asked whether this policy was documented or posted anywhere, and she confirmed it was not. When I requested to speak with a manager (I believe her name was Noel), I was told the same thing, with little consideration for my situation. I explained that I was only ordering two Triple Play entrées with a coupon and that such cases should be handled individually rather than applying a blanket rule. Ultimately, I rushed to arrive by 9:57 PM, only to wait over 20 minutes for my food to be prepared.
What frustrated me most was not the wait itself, but the lack of flexibility, professionalism, and customer care throughout the process. As a paying customer who values Ruby Tuesday, I should feel welcomed and accommodated not dismissed.
I am sharing this feedback in the hope that it will be taken seriously and that customer service standards at this location will improve. Policies should be transparent and consistently applied, but also balanced with common sense and respect for loyal guests.

Read moreWe used to order take out frequently from this location (65 SON LAN PKWY, GARNER NC 27529) however; based on this evenings experience, we will no longer be eating at any of their locations. We used to get a full rack of ribs with a choice of 2 sides. Now a half rack supposedly comes with fries and fried chicken (why?) and 1 choice of side. The Cost is almost $20. The place was almost empty so I never even considered checking the order I just picked it up and left. When I got home, there were NO fries and I really wanted the fries. It was storming out, traffic was bad, and going back out to the restaurant, wasting gas was not an option for me. I called and the best they could do (after being told it didn't come with fries yet the website clearly stated it came with fries) they would give me a credit for the fries. Really? Fine. Thank you Daniel (the manager on duty). The quality of the food has greatly gone down hill. I didn't appreciate being told I was wrong when I can read clearly what the website said (see pic) it was supposed to come with fries. Fries doesn't seem like a big deal but when you had your mind set on them, well; you want them! But the quality of the food just isn't what it used to be and the fact that you can't customize the order (choosing not to get the chicken fingers) and paying for what you don't want isn't favorable. Bottom line; quality of food is poor, manager told me I was wrong when I clearly was in the right, and having to pay for food you don't want because you can't edit the order and paying more than you should is not favorable.
