China King — Restaurant in North Carolina

Beware of "bait and switch" tatics on price. I placed an order from their website a few weeks ago and noticed when I picked it up the charge was almost $12 more than my online total. When I questiond the difference I was told there was a recent price change. Being in a huge hurry I paid and left.

Today, nearly a month later I placed another order online and kept the "checkout page" on my phone for refference. when I arrived the total was over $10.00 more than their website. When I asked why such a price difference the gentleman simply replied "old menu price online". When I told him the exact same thing happened a month earilier he told me, as he was holding my phone, "This menu 4 years old". He then scrolled to a sentance on one page that states "prices my increase at any time."

I asked why a 4 year old menu was online, and his english suddenly became much worse. Literally his only words were "This price, you want or not"? I questioned why a 4 year old menu was still online and his responce was, "This price, you want or not".

Their website does not allow you to pay online, and by in person admonition they know the online menu is 4 years out of date. THIS IS CLEARLY A BAIT AND...

Order food here with caution. My wife and I ordered two meals here last night. We used their online ordering. I stopped in to pick up our order and after paying I realized that they charged me nearly $7 more than my total. I walked back into the restaurant and the man working there explained that the prices online in the online ordering section were four years old. How can a business not update their ONLINE ORDERING prices in 4 years? I believe it's because they know people will not pay attention. We live in a time where they probably receive a ton of online orders and nobody even notices that they are paying way more than expected when they pick up their food. I ordered there because I thought the online prices looked good...turns out they weren't that great. I ended up taking my order. The food, as usual, was ok. Certainly not worth the price I ended up paying....maybe the 4 year old prices would have been more fair. The lack of customer service and the average food is enough to keep my family from going back. It's just my opinion but I believe that is a dishonest business practice. If you cannot keep your online ordering prices accurate, don't accept...

I am writing up here to let y'all know be careful and make sure you check your food I am a pregnant woman and I got beef lo mein and egg rolls and my egg rolls were we dropped they were hard and they were disgusting and I asked for them to drop my food fresh because I am pregnant and my child do not like certain things those are the one things that I can't eat and they just messed it all up for me I am very disappointed and I am upset I am tired of this happening to me I go there on a regular basis and they continue to treat me like I am nothing I have called constantly to complain about my food and all they do is say oh okay they don't even try to correct the problem so at the end of the day be aware be mindful of everything that you do when you go to China King and please check your food on a regular basis they're rude to me when I call they're calling me a sir and I am a man I'd be so confused and so irritated it's not fair to me to come and spend my hard-earned money and y'all treat me like I'm nothing will not return back to this...
