Hibachi USA — Restaurant in Clayton

I don't know what's worse the service or the carrots they put on the hibachi rice. I stopped here with my family after a long Spring Break weekend at the beach. It was not that busy. Less than 1/4 of the tables were full. 5 of us ordered all on one ticket. We got our meals almost 30 minutes apart. I got mine last and my nephews had already scraped the remaining food off their plate. My steak was saltier than the ocean I was just swimming in. The carrots are not the little square cut ones you normally get in asian cuisine but fullsized AND THEY SOAK THEM IN SWEETNER or something because they are soft and mushy and sweet. Bleh. Couldn't eat them. So anyway I try to be lenient when writing reviews but this place needs a new manager. Oh yeh... When I got my food this red haired girl just kinda slapped it down in front of me and mumbled insincerely "sorry for the wait" and just walked away. The really wide sweaty guy who took our order was just handing out to go orders the whole time meanwhile he kept looking at us wondering where our food was but not actually talking to his kitchen about it. The brown haired young lady who ran most of our food was not even paying attention. There was a tall athletic looking guy with glasses and seemed to be doing nothing. Now I use to wait tables so I'm usually apologetic in these situations but this place is nonsense holy cow fix it. If you're reading this food runners. Word of advice: stay on your kitchen to get your food out asap.

Also all the table tops were kinda sticky. USE HOT WATER AND SANITIZER.

The restaurant was clean. We were initially overcharged for 3 plates instead of 2. We did get there kind of late, but the drive thru was still flowing, and the open sign was on, and no one bothered to say we were only doing takeout. We were in town taking a break from being at the Cleveland Band competition (it lasts all day). We overlooked the overcharge as it was corrected, but the young man working the register had one of the worst attitudes I have ever seen. I asked for a to go box and some sauce cups, to which he took all the sauce off the table and left none for my brother, who was still eating I had to ask for it back. He stood at the register and very loudly complained about how he just wanted to go home. The power to the soda machine was turned off so that my brother could not even get a refill. But, the main kicker for me that showed his lack of maturity and the reason we will advocate for no one to ever visit this facility is when he walked out the back door he said what school are you with..... I hope they lose. It was uncalled for and unnecessary. I can see why there is a Now Hiring sign in the window it's most likely for his position. For a person with that type of attitude showcased at the front is sure NOT going to win you any customers.

If i could give this place negative stars i would. My husband and i went there for dinner tonight. My husband ordered Hibachi steak and chicken and i ordered the Hibachi double chicken no mushrooms. Well the girl starts to bring over the food and she takes it back b4 getting to the table and starts talking to another girl about thats not supposed to have mushrooms. Then they bring over my husbands food with out mine and i said babe didnt u order steak and chicken not just chicken he said yea but its okay i said no u didnt get what u ordered. So the lady says okay ill go get u a side of steak. Few seconds later she brings over some steak and he starts eating it thinking dang this is chewy steak must be low quality but no this steak was Raw on the inside. Like my husband likes pink in his steak so he know what the different levels of pink are in steak but no this steak was raw still had the clear film look with a purple tint to It. Asked for a manager and guess what no manager there. I was refunded my money however if my husband gets sick they will pay a lot more than just 15 dollars. Also we are not the only peoples steak they messed up. They also under cooked someone elses steak as well. Then as we were leaving the people behind us there order was completly wrong....
