This WaffleHouse has been one of our fav locations since it arrived in the Berewick area, but the last few Saturdays I've gone have been less than satisfying.
Wait staff needs to wait on customers instead of talk about poor pay and how ratchet they are or aren't. They loud huddled circle conversations were unprofessional and left customers unable to even get their attention.
If it weren't for the COOK, named Jared, we would never come back. He salvaged our experience and my decision that this location just needs some adjustments.
The so-called waitress didn't get our drinks, our re-fills, ensure our order issues were resolved , or check on us. She only took our order and she rushed us through that process. She says she works weekends so I will not be back on a weekend. The last 3 times I've been shes been there and all she does is talk , talk, talk laugh ridiculously loud. She was so loud in fact, the children with me even said ," why is everything so extremely loud with her?" They are always talking about pay and how much it takes to live but all I see is persons choosing to talk about it while not even taking the opportunity to earn a big tip that may have walked in the door! I gave Jared that big tip and he was so grateful , but really he should be rewarded beyond this tip because he was the only person in the restaurant not caught up by negligence of the rest of the employees huddled off laughing away from the customers.
Later another employee waiting on shift change saw the unacceptable display of non working employees huddled up and she started asking while washing dishes, whose doing this, whose doing that? She saw what we all experienced and I just need someone beyond this location to understand this is a business not a social gathering place. I pay money to receive food and service. If I don't get even one of them, you lose my business and my trust.
I just want the young lady to fix her mindset about what professionalism and service is before it costs...
   Read moreI had an extremely disappointing experience at this Waffle House location. I came in with my toddler and placed a very simple order , a 2-egg breakfast and one other item. After waiting for over an hour, we still hadnât received our food. No one came to check on us or provide any update during that time.
When I finally asked the manager what was taking so long, she told me she never even received my order because the server failed to hand it over. That explained the delay, but it was incredibly frustrating to hear after sitting there with a hungry toddler for so long.
To make matters worse, the restaurant was not clean at all. Tables were sticky, and I saw staff touching their faces and even their noses, then handling food and plates without washing their hands. It was honestly uncomfortable and unhygienic.
At that point, we decided to leave without eating. What should have been a quick, simple breakfast turned into a stressful and unpleasant experience. The lack of basic cleanliness, communication, and accountability was shocking.
I rarely write negative reviews, but this visit was unacceptable from start to finish. I sincerely hope management takes immediate action to improve cleanliness, staff training, and order handling. no customer should have to...
   Read moreI go here all the time with my team l tried to order prior to arrival over the phone and online with no luck to get to the location for them to tell me I canât order Togo and to do it online after explaining that I couldnât means Jessie the manager wasnât listening to my issues with ordering or the other young man trying for her to then give the excuses of they system wonât hold more than 7 order's⌠as I place my order in Togo ware as I always do she tells me I have to eat it there. No understanding of the issues that had nothing to do with the customer. While waiting on my food I see Jessie walk by again I grabbed her attention my saying excuse me while the staff is yelling orders to remove something from my order she tells me I aggressive which I wasnât I said I canât hear my self talk and this is my tone she proceeded to tell me to leave very quickly because her staff said I was being rude to them when I hadnât spoken a word to them not one then tried to apologize I asked for the number to corporate we will not...
