Church's Texas Chicken — Restaurant in North Charleston

Not sure how this place is allowed to be open! Absolutely filthy, no restroom, employee at counter just plain awful, he didn't understand the menu, pricing, or how to work the register. Manager had to fix food and then come and help him understand the order and how to put it into the register correctly. The horrible smell in the restaurant was unbearable had to step outside to breathe. The chairs and tables inside had to be 20-30 years old, but the food tasted okay according to my kids. We were in a rush and the kids wanted fried chicken. No food for me! Corporate PLEASE come and help cleanup the restaurant, get them new equipment, update the menu and train your staff. The manager was the only + and she needs help and appropriate working...

We went to this church’s chicken to get a top off for some other family who joined us. We didn’t get all of our food, the chicken tenders weren’t done all the way, didn’t get our condiments, and the drive-thru clerk didn’t even complete our orders right. All in all not a pleasant experience due to being in a 15 passenger van and had to navigate the window like the boat that got stuck in Egypt. Parking lot planning and design is your front door, no one wants to frequent your establishment if you can’t get to the window or to the order microphone to order. Still what we had wasn’t bad so I’m rating on everything a 2 star but even if food was excellent wouldn’t get more than three stars for the visit due to window issues and order...

got some chicken for lunch this evenng and the chicken tasted and looked burnt and looked like it had been sitting out for ours. Didn't notice until I got to work...very disappointed...because I can"t leave to return it. Waste of money...this isn't the first time I have received substandard meals here at this particular store...also...there never seems to be enough people working...management sucks. I tried to give you all a pass...but it's consistent poor service and quality of food. does management read the reviews...better get it together before you all get sued for...
