Herbert's Vintage and Coffee — Restaurant in North Charleston

The concept is great, the staff is friendly, and the drinks are good. I think it’s a bit tasteless to sell $5 - $10 goodwill tees for $60-$80. Especially in this neighborhood. I’m familiar with second hand apparel and have my own issue with it as a whole when “curators” mark up a $5 tee to $60 for whatever reason but this location really rubs it in people’s faces, even though I’m sure this isn’t the intent. This would be better suited in a more affluent neighborhood or downtown, not where people who live down the street could not afford it. Wow!!! When I say this is the best coffee shop in Charleston, I mean it!!!! The atmosphere is welcoming and cozy; situated outside the busyness of downtown in North Charleston. You can tell the owners took their time to curate an amazing collection of antique decor and clothing. The clothing is reasonably priced and there is really something for everyone—I bought a cute 70s tee! Herbert’s Vintage and Coffee is a welcome addition to the North Charleston area!

The coffee is delicious and thoughtfully made with Counter Culture Coffee. It’s obvious a lot of thought went into what and how they serve things.

The owners are super friendly and down to earth and have created a welcoming space where you could easily spend time working, catching up with friends or exploring their wide variety of vintage clothes.
