King's Crab Sushi Seafood &Steakhouse — Restaurant in North Fort Myers

Considering I was driving so far for a good sushi place, elsewhere, I am so happy to have entered Kings Crab to try their sushi…(it is rare I go to my old sushi place) Sky, the Sushi Chef is amazingly talented with his gift of art in food, plating and preparation of his sushi creations. The plating is always pretty (he made the bird for my daughter) and he is very gracious with accommodating you with something new if you have something in mind. The staff has always been very attentive and they work together in making sure you have what you need if another is busy. All of the staff can make you a delicious cocktail as in their Lychee martini or a warm/hot sake or any type of mixed drink. They also have draft, Asian bottled beers to choose from as well as plain jane beers and several cold sake choices! Red white and zin wine too. Take note (per the upset patron review above regarding no hibachi tables) like u know this when u walk in…?…Their Hibachi food is delicious(omg the rice! 😋) and though they do not do hibachi table side, the preparation in the kitchen still offers the flavor you want… I eat there sometimes (3) times a week and have never had a bad piece of fish. It is slow season so it isn’t as busy as it was during season so give it a try! U won’t be disappointed! Tonight we stopped in to have a Christmas dinner. We normally cook but since we weren’t having our family over for Christmas we decided to eat out some where new that was open on Christmas Day. I didn’t expect to have the best service with people working on Christmas Day but my expectations were truly blown away. Everyone from the lady who greeted us our server (owners son) the wonder lady’s working behind the bar were fantastic. I was skeptical pulling up but the inside of the restaurant was very nice. Now on to the food we had the king crab boil. Fantastic some of the best crab legs I’ve had in Florida seasoned very well and fresh. The owner brought us out miso soup and gave one to each in our party (we didn’t even order them) and they were delicious. I truly can’t wait to return. Not impressed. First time visiting Florida wanting to try something new and it was just not worth it. I ordered online to pick up shrimp with crab legs Kings seasoning and hibachi chicken and steak. The online checkout makes you automatically tip minimum 15% my total order was 60.00. The sauce was very little, tasted like buttery garlic and salt. The food on the other hand had no taste at all. I would not recommend!!! Honestly the pictures speak for themselves. Believe me I tried to change the tip to zero but it wouldn't allow me to....which still has nothing to do with the tasteless food. The owners reply definitely doesn't make me feel any better about the loss of my money or time and gas driving way over there to pick it up! This is an experience I wish I would've never had and really just trying to forget about!!! The only response you can give me is oops you should've changed the tip...
