Puzo's — Restaurant in North Haledon

Rude, nasty & obnoxious!! Have been ordering from here almost weekly for 4 years. I’m a believer in patronizing your local businesses. I Placed an order & noticed the debit was for more than it should be. Called and was told it was for 3 pies NOT the 2 I ordered, I told them I only wanted 2 & to credit my card. Some nasty man Manny then comes on and says he’s refusing to credit and isn’t wasting food. I explain I don’t need 3 pies, I’ll be wasting food! He continued to argue with me & I told him cancel the order, & I will dispute it with my bank. He hung up. 10 mins later a delivery driver shows up saying the OWNER will credit the card. Feeling bad for the kid ( he’s stuck in the middle ) I accept. 2 hrs later I get a call from Puzzos ( he had the young kid call!) and tells me they are NOT crediting my card, but instead will give me a FREE pie.. It's incredibly disappointing that their food has a sour taste, making it difficult to enjoy. What's worse is that their prices are high despite the low quality of the food. Even more frustrating is the excessive delivery time, taking over an hour to receive your order. It's unacceptable that the delivery driver has been consistently rude and nasty, especially considering my generous tipping. The lack of professionalism and respect is concerning. It's disheartening that the owner refuses to provide a refund when requested and even lies about his presence when asked for a receipt. It's a clear the owner attempts to avoid accountability. I have reported his behavior to the NJ Consumer Affairs, as it's important to bring attention to these issues. I had a bad experience there I called in the order when I got there it was not ready, the owner apologize to me and told me just to wait another 20 minutes and it would be ready and that happened two more times that same night after waiting two and a half hours he told me that what I ordered was not in stock so he cannot fulfill my order at the same time I heard him telling other customers the same story he told me it was a very sad mess I'll never go there again.
