I have frequently visited Dragon Palace and unfortunately the last visit was just that, my last. I called in an order of pork fried rice for my child as a take out order. When I picked up they confirmed my name and the ordered item. Upon arriving home we quickly realized it was the wrong item. It was pork fried rice and had shrimp also, like a seafood fried rice. My child’s allergic to shrimp so i immediately called the location to advise them of this and request a refund as we couldn’t have this in our house due food allergy. Upon calling the store I was handed off to 3 to 4 different young staff members that were trying to problem solve. After some length of time I asked to speak to the manager and was told she’s too busy to talk now. I then requested a callback realizing yes it could be a busy dinner rush. Two hours later I felt compelled to call back asking for the stand in manager Heidi as the manager I was told was on vacation. Keep in mind this was all over a $12.15 charge. Heidi finally came to the phone where she became abrupt and argumentative. She kept saying I would have to come in person for a refund. Let me get this straight, you charged me for something I didnt order and want me to physically come back to you and waste my gas money and time, which at this point I already invested hours…that didn’t seem right. She told me to come back in person and she doesn’t have time for this anymore as she has tables waiting and HUNG UP ON ME ! Wow, what a bad move! I then called the Coventry Dragon Palace where David so graciously called the NK restaurant and within 10 minutes I received my money back on my card I originally paid with. With the high cost of everything and so many great restaurants locally I will never be returning to this location and I urge Heidi to search for a new job opportunity. The customer is...

While running errands my wife and I stopped by to have dinner around 8:00 pm, we normally visit the one in Wakefield but we were in NK and have always enjoyed Wakefield….we asked to sit at a high table, that’s where things went south… not sure who the older oriental women behind the bar was who was the waitress but on several occasions my wife and I wanted to get up and leave… her service was nothing more than unfriendly and made us feel as if we were bothering her. We did not order alcohol because we wanted tea because it was a damp cold evening, not sure if that had something to do with sitting in that area not that it should , however, she was unpleasant and would make facial expressions when my wife would ask for something , extra tea, chips, or sauces for the meal that should have been brought to the table in the first place, at times we had to repeat asking for condiments because she just didn’t care about doing her job I guess. This attitude made for an unpleasant dinner for two people in their 60s. The food was good but not sure how we feel about returning specially after she came over to take things off the table and literally just took everything off, even the food I was still eating and the chips my wife was still picking on , then to pick up my wife’s hand purse that was sitting on top of the bill and credit card and move it to the side to get the bill and card was extremely uncomfortable. please for future reference, put someone behind the bar area who enjoys interacting with their customers and can make for an overall...

I ate there Before in August I rated them 5* stars back then but this time in October 30th it sucked. We waited 1 hour to get a soup extra 45 minutes for the food to come out Severely cold.Spring roll was drench in oil.Chips they serve where stale. Chicken wings where rubbery and hard like it was last year's wings heated in a microwave. The soup was good and the spare rib tips was good despite that it was cold.My Friends chicken chop suey the chicken in it was cold and tasted freezer burned. Unbelievable. They had one waitress running around doing everything while a Girl was up front looking like a trophy wife. The owner was in the back with the cooks doing nothing. Service today was awfully Bad! I paid for nasty food $45.00 Several others next to us and 8n back of us where also complaining. They asked for a refund. But I didn't because I was afraid they dock the waitress. She was the only one actually trying to make things right. I wish I...

One rating, everyone knows the rules: 4.84 (out of 10) Definitely have great combo options for reasonable prices. Dumplings & Scallion pancakes were good, fried rice was ok, General Tso Chicken was a little tangy (which I'm not a fan of) though still had a spicy kick, and the Sesame Chicken was sweet with a bold flavor (which I did like). Compared to other Chinese food places in the area, I thought it was good. Compared to all the Chinese places I've ever had I thought it was ok.Overall I would return because if you're looking for Chinese food down here, this is better than rest. Also should note that I gave 4/5 stars because during COVID times I think every review should come with the caveat that getting takeout is almost never the same as in person dining, so I'll give them the benefit of the doubt until I can get a truer tasting while dining in.

Enjoyed the complementary fried/crispy wonton chips. The wonton soup was tasty, a bit on salty side, but I enjoyed that. Had some sort of chicken like strips (seemed like chicken used for nuggets which was a bit weird in a soup) definitely weren’t pork strips which is what I’m used to. The soup had lots of leafy cabbage. The nim chow and edamame were fresh & my favorite part of the meal. The Thai style chicken had a ton of chicken cut thinly in various sizes. This dish had a sweet and spicy sauce and al dente green peppers. We added broccoli. We could’ve used more veggies. We took home plenty of the chicken, will make a good leftovers chicken sandwich.

Unfortunately, I am downgrading this place. The sushi doesn’t seem as fresh anymore. Additionally, the past few times I have ordered the Mai Tai and it seems to be missing the dark rum and doesn’t stack up to others I have had at other Asian restaurants. Prior to a year ago, I commented: Very fresh Sushi! Good choices of specialized roles. Deep choice of combination plates. Tons of potential with this place…I hope they can bring back the quality.
