Love this place. Rare for me to say things like that. All the ingredients tasted fresh as if they were made in house. When you eat at a family restaurants there are little things in the details that would escape the casual corporate diner. The music, the decor, the staffing, the place oozes with authenticity. It feels like an authentic Mexican family restaurant. When you see the staff eating here you know its a good place. Honestly, nothing tasted like it "came from a jar or can" it tasted fresh and homemade...well, maybe the sourcream was from a jar (thank the Americanization for that spin). I had the vegetable burrito and my wife had the Spinach Quesadillas. She found hers a bit too cheese, good but too much cheese for her liking. I had a bite and thought it tasty and again freshly made. Some mayfind a strong cilantro taste in the seasoning but it shouldn't be a surprise, it's Mexican, cilantro is in everything. The service this night was friendly and super quick. It was like "I barely put my menu down" and our food arrived. Keep in mind this was a Monday night...probably the best night to avoid crowds and get quick service. It's a must try if you've never been. I hear there's one in Cranston too. This place is definitely on the 5 Star Eat Again list.

Great little Mexican spot, especially because it's the only of its kind in the area. The service was great last night. Immediately greeted and sat and had chips and salsa on the table within a minute. That's tough to beat. The food was good, but I do recall it being better last time I was there. Overall, if you're craving Mexican food, give this spot a chance. Very unlikely you'll be disappointed. The only downside was that the shrimp still had their tails on. It would've been much easier and neater if they were removed prior to the meal being delivered.

The Building Gorgeous upon entering the decorations are fascinating you feel like your in a tiny villa. First they bring you the tortillas with salsa then the drinks you order waiter was very polite and attentive to our needs. Me and my sis ordered the plate that has sample of everything it was delicious and enough for 2 look at the pics how scrumptious it all looks. 5 stars from. Me they deserve every star*****

It was definitely an experience.. A positive experience? no, but an experience, none the less. NOBODY was there yet the staff was not thrilled when we walked in. It seemed as though we were a burden to them. When we walked in, the entire staff was sitting at a table eating pringles. Sour cream and onion pringles to be exact. We had to ask to be seated and then they wouldn't accept our coupon that we got from their website. When we asked why, the waiter repeated "Mondays. Mondays" Which made no sense, seeing as though the coupon was good for sunday through thursday and it was a wednesday. WHAT DOES THAT HAVE TO WITH MONDAY?! They also don't have hardshell beef tacos on the menu. When we ordered fajitas, they barely gave any sour cream so we asked for extra. We were blessed with an entire container of sour cream and then charged an extremely high amount for it.. Still, I would return for the stories that I am sure will follow. Overall, slow service and rude staff, but...

Very disappointing and overpriced. Waitress had zero personality and therefore only got a 15% tip. She gave all of her attention to the table that was ordering rounds of very expensive drinks, of course! Fish tacos seriously should be renamed MUSH tacos...had to eat them with a fork. Tiny pieces of fish in the mush. Tasted just okay. Best thing we ate was the warm chips and salsa. We walked out the door with not as much as a thank you. Would never go back and I do not recommended. There was snow and ice to walk over outside their front entrance - definitely a liability and not wise on their part! Takes a lot for me to give a negative recommendation. Don't waste your hard-earned money. Too many other great restaurants in this area with grateful staff....
