1st time here and maybe I will give it one more try, but I doubt it. Walked in waited close to 10 minutes to be acknowledged as there was no one at the desk, we were seated under a vent that alternately blew cold or hot air. Service was extremely slow. Asked for a cup of hot tea because I was cold from the vent blowing on me, was brought tea.... no sweetener, asked for sweetener and she forgot. Asked again 5 minutes later and she finally brought it but no spoon to stir it., and now i had piss warm tea!! All that before we even received our meal. Service was slow but I am pretty sure that was Brianna, our server and not he kitchen. She had a lackadaisical attitude. All in all, the Food was okay. I asked for chicken sciapella(spelling) and no where in the description did it say it would be extremely spicy. I honestly couldn’t eat it and I like heat!! My partner had the lasagna and he enjoyed it very much. I may try it again, still not sold...
Read moreMy Wife and I have been loyal guests of Frankies for years and, have yet, to speak negatively about our experiences. Most recently we stopped in for a quick dinner on the way to the grocery store…once again they didn’t disappoint! I had the swordfish, surly one of the best versions of that dish I’ve ever had. Sally had shrimp scampi and again what a special way of preparation that she thoroughly enjoyed! Agnes’s crew has a way of making us feel like they’re happy we came and are always striving for something special with each guest. I realize that if I was seen walking on water someone would claim it’s because I can’t swim! When I am planning on a new experience I’m eager to learn what others have to say, however, I do my research regarding the reviewer that has nothing good to say about any business with the exception of a family member! Trust me…Frankie’s is the best all round restaurant, you won’t be...
Read moreMy brother and I order out from this place just about every week, and we eat in about once a month. Take it from us gourmands: Frankie's has some of the BEST pizza in the state of Rhode Island. Even my picky relatives, who are very particular when it comes to pies, like this place and tend to request it when they visit. We've tried almost everything on the menu and the majority of it is quite good. My favorites are the Fenway, Nona's Pizza, the seasonal lobster mac and cheese and the Rhode Island Calamari. My brother likes pepperoni pizza with extra cheese and also the Sunday Special and the Arancini (both made with great bolognaise sauce). If there's anything to quibble about, their desserts are kind of ho-hum, but we usually get an appetizer instead of dessert. Frankie's does a lot of takeout, but they also have a nicely furnished dining room and bar, and the service is great no matter what...
