I was driving home yesterday after a long road trip with 6 hungry teenage boys. God help me. On a whim, we decided on this Wendy’s, close to home. There was a big line at the drive-thru, and upon looking inside the restaurant was empty. We didn’t see anyone walking in, so we assumed that (due to Covid) ordering was through the drive-thru only and took our place in line. We placed our HUGE order (remember, SIX “starving” teenage boys) and waited while the staff rushed around trying to fill it while keeping the line behind us to a minimum and the remaining customers content. When it finally came through the window, I thanked them, apologized for the large order and explained that had the counter service been available, I would have obviously taken my order inside rather than the using the drive-thru. He kindly replied, “Oh, we’re open for inside orders, you just can’t sit down to eat here.” Another girl who had worked on our order smiled as we drove away. Sure enough, as we came around the building, we saw a few people walking inside. I was mortified. Now, this might not seem like such a big thing to write a review about, but in these crazy times, when everyone is so on edge and easily triggered, I was very impressed with the way the staff treated me kindly and without judgment. Especially given the number of customers they were dealing with at the time. And they got the entire order...

Just as bad as when I went previously. Every sandwich was missing significant amount of items. In my group, we ordered the same sandwich and every single one was prepared differently and had different things on them. Everything was cold. They had about 6 people working, but they had all the registers closed. The toilet was closed. It was a terrible experience overall.
Usually this place is great, but for some reason, it was off tonight. Not only did our food take about 40 minutes to be ready, we heard some awful tension in the kitchen. This poor old lady who works in the back was getting yelled at a coworker (s?). She was very kind and offered us some free frosty samples for the delay.
They really need to get their food together. The chicken was severely undercooked to the point where it was wet, cold and falling apart. It was almost inedible.
I do want to give props to the lady who served us, she did an awesome job and kept her composure. Shame on the co-workers who were screaming at her and creating a hostile work environment.
I normally would recommend, but this experience put a bad taste...
Read moreWorst Wendy's I've ever been to. When I walked inside to order there was a sign on the register that stated "Kiosk only, understaffed." May I mention there was 10 people working including the Manger and they were too "under staffed" to have 1 person work the register. After I ordered, a gentleman after me tried to order on the kiosk and had issues with it. The girl told the gentleman she couldn't help him after he tried to ask for help. After he ordered the kiosk charged him twice for the meal he ordered. Once that happened the girl and the manager decided to help him. In hindsight, if the girl did her job to begin with, this situation could have been prevented. Instead she wanted to hand out cups and call out when orders were ready instead. If the store was managed properly the 2 extra people they clearly had could have been working the register. The 2nd person who was in the back roaming back and forth between stations. Overall, terribly managed Wendy's and poor customer service. Minimum wage should be lower than it is now because of the lack of effort people at this Wendy's...
