Arby's — Restaurant in North Las Vegas

Had to drive so wasn't able to post a review other than the star rating at first.

Ordered 3 small Jamoca shakes. With the outside temperature hovering at around 114°, these were the perfect shakes to chill and get a little pep in the old step. We prefer this store because they don't question you if you have a problem with an item. They gladly replace it with a fresh made replacement. Also, the cookies are never burned from being left in the oven too long and the shakes always seem to be available, unlike 4 out of 5 other fast food places in Las Vegas that sell shakes. We get so tired of hearing an employee tell us that "the shake machine is not working." To which I usually ask to speak with a manager and advise him/her to train ALL of their employees how to clean, set up, use, take apart and clean and then put back in service so that they have no more bogus excuses for not selling shakes during the hottest part of the year.

No worries at this store though. They obviously know the value of having their shakes...

The food was excellent, fresh and hot. The employees were friendly and helpful. Restaurant mostly clean.

The only bad thing was a man came in and was clearly in need of mental assistance. They were very kind to him and gave him a cup for water.

BUT, he was very loud, abusive to the other customers and was walking around the restaurant bothering people and making strange noises. They asked him to leave and he did.

He did come back in and they asked him to leave again. He then went outside and went up to each person that left, waving his arms and making strange noises. Yelling at us about how he wanted to go inside and sleep and eat. We were very uncomfortable.

NONE of this was Arby's fault. But I would have called the police for medical assistance for the man and not have him bothering the other customers. IMHO

Everything else was fine. Good job on handling the situation but I would have gone a bit further in order to assure that my customers didn't feel afraid eating and/or leaving...

I came in with a coupon to get free Arbys kids meals. The coupon states you can use it once per visit. I came in the morning to use the coupon and then came in the afternoon to use the coupons to get lunch for my children. I was berated and embarrassed by the manager on duty which I think her name is Selda or Selma. She told me I couldn't use the coupon and raised her voice at me in front of other customers. She then proceeded to argue with me about me being there earlier and why I came back. I simply said the coupon did not state I couldn't use it the same day twice just that I could only use one per visit. The only reason I needed to use the coupon twice is so that my kids could have something to eat. That is the bigger picture. I hope that in the future this manager on duty learns how to either gently turn someone away without making them feel like their doing something wrong or learn stronger customer...
