Almost every part of this chipotle experience went wrong. I've been to many chipotles and none of them have had hardly any of the problems this location had. I ordered a bowl, and to start the brown rice was totally burnt and stuck to the bottom of the tray and they had to scrape it out to put in my bowl. I wanted barbacoa but didn't realize they were running very low at first, but now the guy is fishing through a tray full of juice to get a few fatty scraps that were left. Before he actually put it in my bowl, I asked if they had any fresh stuff and before he replied or i had a chance to change my mind, he threw the bits he got in my bowl and then let me know any fresh stuff would be over 1/2 hour wait. Proceed to the salsa counter - it was absolutely disgusting and covered and smeared with all sorts of drips. I asked for a little bit of mild salsa, and the gal on this station gets a heaping spoon full and throws it in. I think I had more salsa than rice at this point. Then the sour cream looked disgusting, was full of other ingredients, but that's the least of my concerns at this point.
The next gal at the register was kind, thankfully. I ordered a drink and thought I would be on my way. Get to the soda station, the drip tray was overflowing with ice which I found odd, but when I started filling my cup with coke I realized that it was out and dispensing completely clear. In other words, they have been out of coke for a LONG time and all the ice was in the tray from everyone dumping out their cups. Sprite it is, no big deal. Then I go to grab a fork and there are only spoons and knives. I go back and ask the gal at the counter if they had any more, and she informed me that they were completely out of forks and there was nothing she could do. That's pretty impressive, considering this restaurant shares a parking lot with a grocery store that sells forks. At least a spoon can slop up the fatty kibble of barbacoa that I got.
I will never go back to this restaurant. Management really should get involved and figure out how things could get this bad and set an example. Never had such a horrid experience...
Read moreRecently was brought to this location by a good friend of mine. He let me order first saying this is his favorite grill and hes been here a good amount of times. At the start of me ordering i could tell the woman at the begining of the serving line (later revealed to be the shift manager 12:07pm pst) was frazzled. (And she was wipung her sweat on her arms which threw me off and made me question cleanliness) When i asked for a bowl her focus was so off she didnt hear me. I brushed it off amd continued my order. Upon my friends turn, the server, did not want allow him to wait for fresh asada; as well as, skimping him on his scoop of meatso he asked for another and she said it would be considered double. I saw the scoop there were 3 slices of asada on that spoon. At this point my friend decided against ordering amd just paid for mu food, which now i'd feel bad for eating infront of him since he didnt get his order. On top of all that the disappointment at hearing the server was the shift manager. Hopefully someone sees fit to...
Read moreWe waited in line for so long and I noticed it was because even though there were 4 workers only 1 was actually making everyone's food. She was new and seemed stressed but kept great composure, she was definitely new her name was Julissa ( I don't know how to spell her name) she deserves a raise already because I even noticed that the manager or shift lead on duty was making jokes with the cashier. When the manager or shift lead left to be on grill the cashier was just standing there while watching her struggle and watching the line get longer, there was no effort in trying to help or and move things along more quickly, he was just standing there awkwardly. I applaud the young lady doing the majority of the work and I thank her for making my food tho she didn't say much she was considerate and lovely. As for the rest of the crew who were working tonight I hope you can figure out what makes a team and focus on helping and bettering...
