Update: I’m removing the 3 stars down to 1 star because this is now the second time within a few months our money was screwed around with. We come here once a week and I know what our cost is for our meals and sometimes I might stop here on occasion during the week if I have to make a quick run and know what my meal costs individually. This time we were charged a little over $2 more for our order when our one item should have been free due to the points used on the app and when I looked at the receipt it didn’t look right so we went in and we were told the girl rang us up correctly which I knew was a lie. I got home and put in the same order minus the free item and the normal price was $10 and some change. I chose to look past the first incident but we’re choosing to leave this location alone at this point. Not only did this location take my points for the free item YA’LL still charged us for it! It doesn’t matter if it’s $1 or $20 this location needs to get it together. I hope anyone who comes here pays attention to their receipt and what’s being charged as well as how much money you are getting back if using cash.
I didn’t want to leave this review but I have too. COUNT AND LOOK AT YOUR CHANGE YA’LL when this location gives it back to you. We are usually in here every weekend and never really have any issues with this location. The kid who usually takes our order he is AWESOME! He knows us well enough now that we don’t have to tell him what we want because he sees us and just punches our order into the system but today.. I made the mistake of going through the drive thru to get my weekend guilty pleasure drink (dunkin refresher) and my husbands cup of coffee and granted I should have paid attention to the sign that they don’t take $50 bills but I didn’t and handed the girl the money and she hands me back $2 and some change. At this point I just had a WTF moment! I got the girls attention to let her know and not only did she catch a sorry attitude with me but was smug about it and wanted to ARGUE and said I gave her $10 a bill! That right there set me off even more. She REFUSED to look in the register to confirm so I had to get the manager involved and GUESS WHAT WAS IN THEIR REGISTER... A $50 BILL! I don’t play with my money and I know what I’m handing people especially these kids. A lot of these kids today are.. just woof.. I don’t trust a lot of them. When the girl was proven wrong after arguing and trying to make me look stupid, rolling her eyes and everything else with me do you think she owned up to the mistake and admitted she was wrong? NOPE! Not even a “I’m sorry” but she did pull the classic walk away move. I can at least respect someone who admits to a screw up.
Ya’ll need to do better! I’m now wondering how many have gotten short changed (understatement in my case) from this location. If it costs $43 for a Dunkin refresher and medium coffee we’re all SCREWED! PAY ATTENTION and learn the DIFFERENCE between a $10 bill and $50 bill and don’t act like the customer is trying to pull a fast one. I didn’t appreciate that move (you didn’t say it but you showed it). Nevada public school system is really doing wonders for these kids I see 🙄.. Things like this will make me leave a business...
Read moreThis morning my friend and I went to get breakfast for the family at Dunkin Donuts in Las Vegas off of Simmons Street. We ordered 4 drinks, 2 breakfast sandwiches, and 2 wraps. Everything was fine, so we thought. After we pulled through the drive thru, the only option because of Covid, we checked the bag to make sure we had everything. I’m glad we did because one sandwich was not in the bag. I looked at the receipt and they didn’t even ring it up. They didn’t read the order back to us and there was not a screen to know that they were doing the order correctly. It was my fault for assuming they were able to do that. I had to drive around and get this fixed. I didn’t want to sit through the, now, long line for their mistake. The lobby was locked shut so I knocked on the front door. A man with a mask on and bleach tipped hair opened the door. I told him what happened. He said he was going to take care of it and walked away. Then came back to get my phone to scan it for the purchase. He was not listening at all. I told him what I ordered and when I didn’t get from the order. He thought I was trying to order the wraps and sandwiches. I had to clarify twice that it was just one sandwich, that the lady who took the order over the intercom was supposed to order the first time around. Then he started making excuses for the people while saying sorry. I said to him what ever you want to say but I don’t want to hear excuses for an easy order and an order I didn’t rush through. It kept getting worse and I was getting madder. Then a supervisor came over. A short, heavy set woman, I didn’t see her name, and she had no clue what was going on. The tall bleach tips haired man walked away. He obviously didn’t know how to work customer service. This supervisor does not seem to know either. I have worked in customer service for 14 years and this is not how you treat a customer. It is definitely not how you treat a paying customer who has to come back for the employees mistake. I had to listen to them both not take responsibility for the mistake they made and they still wanted me to pay for this sandwich I should have gotten in like the first time. I love Dunkin Donuts. I spend a lot of money here each year and now I don’t want to come back. Thank goodness the Dunkin Donuts I normally go to would never treat me like this. This team needs more training on customer service and understanding how to place an order for a...
Read moreI just left the lobby of the dunkin donuts on Simmons, and this was the most unprofessional place I have ever been in. To start, i have a 10 year old son who wanted Dunkin Donuts, but I am driving a large truck that is to large for their drive through 90 degree turn, so we went inside. While standing in line I hear the employees arguing about someone taking a 40 min bathroom break, the angry employee who's complaining about everything is also pacing back and forth with his face mask pulled down below his chin, breathing his hot breath all over the donuts. Then after standing there for 10mins listening to all of them arguing, he comes over to tell me and another lady that their going to close the lobby because their short staffed. Once I explained I cannot fit my truck through the drive through, he walks away with an attitude and loudly starts talking about how he told us the lobby is closed but we're still standing their, and he's cussing while telling this to another employee, then shoots us an annoyed look. I get that they might be short staffed, but maybe stop pacing back and forth complaining about everything and try working. My son wanted 1 donut, that would have taken 30 seconds of his time, but instead we ended up leaving because my son said he could tell the guy was mad. How sad is that, that you couldn't do your job and made a 10 year old feel uncomfortable. I will never go...
